I'm running it right. Dodge rolls have -1 for every enemy you already dodged. Circumstances which would logically make things harder give penalties. Circumstances which would logically make things a lot harder, like being swarmed by the people attacking them, give big penalties.
You weren't supposed to take on a small army in straight, one-on-one combat!
You suck at tactical anything! Don't blame me when your stupid Leeroy Jenkins attitude makes you lose.

One turn ago, you healed. This turn, you used an attack which hits a lot of people. Not the same.
Multi-targeting gives a -2 penalty per person past the first you affect. It's always been like that. You can hardly blame me if I don't bend the rules to let you use some special ability from something I don't even understand.
