In reaction to the beast's appearance, Blossom... still does nothing. When it pierces her, she does not bleed, instead letting out a small stream of pale Ichor.

Her back seems to explode, several large blades appearing around her, connected to her body by chains. She takes hold of one of them, a massive blade made of blue crystal (doubles crit ratio, halves critfail ratio), lunging at the creature.

Mallory looked somewhat amused at both what Lyle said and how tired he was after it, "So that's how people are around here normally? I don't know why but it sounds sorta funny to me. Eh, what do I know." He relaxed back in the chair and rubbed his eyes.

The creature is long gone. You chase after it for a couple seconds, but it soon becomes obvious that it has escaped your wrath. This time at least.

"Hm. I suppose you aren't going to at least explain why you're mad at me."

"No. It's stupid."

The connection is mysteriously ended at this point for no apparent reason.

The creature is long gone. You chase after it for a couple seconds, but it soon becomes obvious that it has escaped your wrath. This time at least.
