The connection is mysteriously ended at this point for no apparent reason.


"Um, I don't usually think of it as funny.. there was that time a couple days ago when two girls blew up one of my friend's houses.. I was the only person who got hurt, for some reason."

Mallory felt he needed to correct himself when Lyle said he didn't think it was funny, "No, I mean... Uh, how to say this... Like, all of you guys are like these powerful beings yet you sorta just go through these average problems still. It's uh... Nevermind." Lyle continued saying how recently a friend of his's house was blown up and he got hurt. He figured maybe he should just stay quiet for a bit before he says something else insensitive.

"I wouldn't exactly call myself powerful, persay.. All I can do is talk to animals and turn into the other guy. Pretty much everyone has some cool magic move or spell like in a video game."

"So like, where are we? I heard something about the like, Holy Grail."

She has a nice big hole in her stomach now. That wasn't there before.

Mallory rubs his eyes, "Uh... Yeah... My power is I think of something that just really gets me mad. Like really fucking mad. And then I focus on something else and I just imagine that is the something that made me mad. After that this dark red energy just appears and that thing is just gone. Anger doesn't really go away easily though so collateral damage is... er... common."

Hainuwele suddenly wakes up, she had been dozing off on ICARUS head.

"*yaawwwwn*,...so..a forest, huh? Have you guys seen this tapestry? Appearantly the grail was stolen from the castle we were in, by some sort of...fisher-king. If the tapestry is...in any way geographicaly accurate, we should be looking for another castle, at the other side of the forest. Or maybe a lake, since the guy is a fisher and  all..."

ICARUS puts Hainuwele down, then flies into the sky to survey the lay of the land. Using her night-vision mode and her 150X optical zoom, the darkness should not be much of a hindrance. What is east, west, south, north?

Will's "Kyle-is-putting-the-moves-on-someone-he-just-met" senses are tingling.
He's not sure how that sense is supposed to be of any use, given how often it tingles, but eh.

Kyle sits on a log.
"I did make everyone simple sleeping arrangements."

"Good. Separate, one per person, I hope?"

"He's not actually a fisher. He's just one in the line of those keeping the Grail. The last, since he suffered...a wound that Kyle would be much less dangerous with, let us say. Can't move on his own. As with all Arthurian characters, the details vary depending on the source."
