Vampiric activity has increased overall in the world, with an entirely new global organization revealing itself as 'Sanguine' now entering the global field along with organizations such as IRIS. They claim that their goal is to better the relationship between humans and vampires, but it appears as if the exact opposite is happening as the vampires spread. Sanguine is rapidly rising in numbers, and is led by a mysterious man only known as 'The Bewitcher'. They receive money from an unknown source, but the collaboration within is high as the vampires join in for a common cause.

Selina has become somewhat more paranoid over the years, not leaving home much as Vampires become more common, and Government Agents constantly checking on her to make sure she isn't abusing her creation magic. Shes still staying at Maria's house, paying a small rent for using utilities and to help with food from the money she makes from selling her pictures online, attempting to use as little of her massive savings as possible for emergencies and later stuff in life.

She finished high school, but didn't want to go to college much, preferring to sell her art. Doing this, shes been making about $800 on a bad month, and about $3000 dollars on a good month.

Should probably think of what Stella is up to, she was already in the last year of school when she came to this world and has half a year of being an official adult in Australia. SO in five years she would have probably done her bachelor degree, although WHERE is an issue, some people would know she is not fully human, and she would want to stay with Will too. And depending on what GWG's dragons are up to they may want her to keep in contact too.

Dr. Alucard Faucheuse disappears from detection after publicly announcing his resigning of post inside IRIS, watching over the Void Gate now that Nodoka is living with her father--some rumor him to be conducting mysterious experiments with magic and even report him having been driven insane.

Bartimaeus, after using almost all of his energy to cast a strong illusion spell on the Void Gate to render it as a tree, begins to wander the world, only dropping by to see Alucard occasionally. Years later he disappears completely.
