Can I take a moment to say that ICARUS is one of my favourite characters in the game?

Well, it's true. ICARUS is lovably sarcastic and... robotic, and her motivations/desires are pretty clear and relatable. I dunno. Better than a lot of the other characters in the game.

If anyone is wondering about the note, It's my way of saying that I'm putting Sen on hold until Samson and Shade get some backstory in and until my turn at plot happens. So don't worry about sen. She is fine. for now.

rather, I bother to write about her motivations. most players don't really bother about that, they just react to what others do without ever explaining why, so no matter wether there is an actual motivation behind the action, it will inevitably be lost when people fail to interpret that action the way it was intended, or simply is not interpreted at all. ICARUS is a rather flat character, actually, there is nothing about her that is not chlichee.

As a fan of giant robot shows, I obviously don't mind cliches.

I dunno, I still like her. And I think that the reason that nobody talks about their motivations is because we haven't found a non-awkward way of talking about them. How many times do you say "I'm going to do X because of Y" in normal, everyday conversation?

Even though she is one of the most respected heroes and such on the planet. And has access to not only a rich family and some rich friends, but also other friends with powers of indeterminate financial value (e.g, Will's ability to play the stock market, Selina's making stuff, etc).

On the note of Will, someone let me know if you're trying to follow the quest thingy. I've lost track of the IC thread, and while I intend to try and catch up I haven't yet.
