Improvise up some piping to connect the oil rig to the refinery.
Would be hard. To make the pipes, we probably need plastic, for which we'll need to refine oil.

Do the clones have names?

Not that we know off. They're temporary hires anyway.

Do the clones have names?
Yep. They are called Bailey and Barnum. B&B for short.

A fact which I totally forgot up until turn 7. It doesn't help that they have no identifying features.

Maybe I'll give one a hat or something.

That would take at least a turn, and the oil rig will be full by that time, so it would be better to just stop that and process the oil

I'd say we stop the thing and produce some plastic, too. After that we can make it more efficient with pipes and stuff.

What's with the scouting robots? Are they outside the local area now?

Just let one get hurt while researching ;) A big scar in the face or something like that.

If we ever make true AI, let's name them after ourselves.

+1

Tell Barnum stuff some leaves in his shirt pocket or something so we can tell them apart.

Also, we should start melting stuff. Maybe the robot making concrete could begin to do so. We won't need concrete for some time.

I think we will need concrete first. We can use it to do things like pave the earthen berm around our camp for better protection.

Turn 9
The Colony: (you might want to just follow this link instead since it's a big image: http://i.imgur.com/9aslBZ4.png )

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
After a short discussion about Rod's diet (apparently he trades some metals for food with the nearby native village every once and a while) and finding out that the yellow bulbs aren't that tasty (but are still edible) Rod leaves.

You stuff some leaves in Barnum's newly acquired pocket and in an unrelated event Bailey mysteriously acquires a scar.

The ore is being smelted and the oil is being made into plastic, we're cooking with flammable liquids now.

You have Bailey do up a quick blueprint for a pipe. It will be long enough so that you can have the Oil rig pump straight into the oil refiner. The refiner can only handle 3 oil a turn though so the rig will have to operate at half efficiency. (blueprint added)

EDIT: +10xp for successfully doing a deal with Rod.

We also need to create at least 2 powerwires, in order to hook up both the oil rig and the digger to the network.

I also propose we create 5 plastic containers, giving use 10 units of oil storage. That will allow the robot to continue operating at maximum capacity for a much longer time.
