I don't eat cereal.

I actually put the cereal in the bowl, if it's not sweetened I add some sugar on top, then just pour some milk on top, getting it wet but not enough to cover it, just enough so that it pools at the bottom, leaving the top of the cereal slightly milk-soaked. Only the last few bits are a bit soggy but I don't eat so slowly that it matters, and then I finish the remaining sweet milk with the spoon.

It is different enough that I feel the distinction is justified. Wine contains water, that does not mean I'll go driving after a couple glasses. Besides, the good müsli in my opinion is mostly nuts, dried fruits, a little oatmeal and different seeds.

I eat cereal in a standard fashion. Cereal in milk in bowl. I suck all the milk out of each mouthful of cereal before I being chewing though.

I actually prefer some cereals soggy namely Raisin Bran, Honey Bunches of oats, pretty much all the flake type cereals really.

The trick is to get cereal thick enough that it can last for a good long while with the core dry. That, or you could just eat toast.

There are also some cereals that simply... cannot get soggy and oddly enough in a way... unsoggy the milk.
