Since the campaign IS coastal, I nominate that GWG, if picked as one of the players, MUST carry a surfboard at all times.

No. He can surf my tower shield.

Also, Baleful Utterance is the most useful invocation since Slice Bread.

I'll be gone for about a week starting on the 31st or the 1st. Camping.

Hmm, I'm thinking of adding some more details to my description and such.
Also I kinda feel weird, everyone else is carrying enough random stuff to kill a donkey and here I am with a stick, the clothes on my back, a backpack to carry stuff in, my mirror, a spyglass, a bedroll and a small amount of food and water :P

Oh hey, I was considering making the mirror a major part of the character design. The basic idea being that Daren has channeled the demonic voices (but not their actual powers :P) that infuse his blood into the mirror, and that he can communicate with them through it. So yeah, just a heads up on that.

Also, Baleful Utterance is the most useful invocation since Slice Bread.

I take it that's sarcasm? Or do you actually think that it looks really useful.
I mean yeah I guess it could theoretically shatter an enemies weapon or armor, BUT THEN WE COULDN'T SELL IT :P

Nice. I guess we'll have to postpone until next week for Rolepgeek, however.

I mean that I've played a Warlock, and using Baleful Utterance on the part of the ice bridge the bad guys are standing on is very useful.

As is using it multiple times on a solid sheet of ice to make a cavern.

Also, at a certain level, the only things you can reliably destroy with it will be things too low in alive to be worth carrying to sell. Like basic longswords or daggers.

You can use it on a single link in that chandeliers chain, make it drop. Shatter the glass dome above their heads, let the shards cut them apart. Use it twice in succession on the enemy tank's full plate armor buckles, watch as they fall off. Use it on their shield grip. Shield and armor just need sme minor repairs, a few castings of Mending or a DC 15 Craft check should be able to fix it easily enough.

If the DM agrees, use it on their cornea; two failed saves and they're blind.

I've got a pretty strict limit on my weight (and thus stuff) too, what with flight and all.

Also, shattering the chain-monkey's spiked chain's central handle doesn't ruin it forever, but it does make for some hilarity when he starts losing a grapple to the self-buffed warlock.

Especially since I believe it's a will save. Possibly reflex, but either way.

Well I actually don't have too strict a limit, I purposefully stocked light.

Nice. I guess we'll have to postpone until next week for Rolepgeek, however.
Awww....why? :( We could replace him :P
Ah well, next week it is

I don't know. While we're waiting, I suppose we could engage in a mock adventure or two, to test out the systems. A test run, if you will.

Well I mean. It is play by post. (Sorta.) I doubt we will finish with the opening credits in a month let alone a week.

A test run, if you will.

I WILL. And since I have a will bonus of +4, I'm feeling good about that :P

I purposely packed light, avoiding my usual 50-foot silk rope and focusing more on survival gear. Though I still got some alchemy stuff. I DID forget a waterskin, though. I'll fix that.

If you look at the spiked chain in the PHB, breaking the spiked chain's center handle just breaks it apart between the hinge rings, which means I could still use it, in theory, though probably only at long range.

Also, my character's not a grappler, so yeah.

And yeah, a practice encounter at the very least sounds good.
