He puts it into a vial and puts it in his pouch.

The City of Ancient Lords

Lost Metropolis of those who came before.

As you step through the gate a roaring of water fills your ears. You are on the edge of a massive basin, water falling from all sides into the terraced Metropolis below. The city spreads out for miles in every direction, blue leafed parks and canals criss crossing it. The tallest buildings are made out of what looks like gold with a purplish tint, the shine brightly in the faint cave light. Tall buildings tower over the cityscape, a many spired temple here and a blocky and intimidating government building there. Crash air vehicles litter the streets, brought down in some ancient cataclysm and left there to rust and tarnish. For this city has been long abandoned, you can see no sign of life down there, hear no bustle of people. The beautiful buildings, for all their splendor, are ruined shells, some still burning and melting from powerful magic. Many of the great towers here have fallen and the opulent palaces look like they have been left alone for a long time. In the center of the city, in a square all of its own, stands the greatest building yet. It is a massive complex, its tallest level scrapes the roof of the cavern, and it spreads out for what must be miles. There you can see that barricades have been constructed and magical shields left in place. The grand avenue leading up to it has a singular gate on the edge of its massive square, a single arch made of pure, white material. A set of stairs have been cut into the edge of the basin near you. Leading down into the ruin.

Selina stares in shock. Who or What would cause so much destruction for what seemed no reason at all? It was horrible...
