Possibility for another base class:

Sapper/Miner/Engineer/Mason which focuses on building structures and setting up traps.

Oh, sorry. I'm gonna hafta wait. Events came up faster than I thought they would, and I won't have internet for a while, except maybe if I'm extremely lucky. A week and a half or so. So play a few turns without me.

Sounds cool. Even if I don't get in anymore, mind if I roll up a class?

Summoner (Demons) / Apothecary

Possibility for another base class:

Sapper/Miner/Engineer/Mason which focuses on building structures and setting up traps.

Engineer class, as instant steampunk in a bottle? Sounds good.

So it was like a binary search, except the question is "Has the input been brutally murdered?", and it only ever returns True.

Classes for players waitlisted will likely not be made until their bringing-in.

However, those of you who requested PMs are in, and that leaves the list as

The players have spawned in the great city of Aldran. A marble colossus, this town is the border between civilization and The Expanse, a tear in the very fabric of reality causing the appearance of monsters, demons, and things that should not be. Aldran is the first line of defense, and the soldiers there have begun regular expeditions into the Expanse to end the chaos once and for all.

You are a group of mercenaries who have finally had to turn to exploring. It's a fairly safe venue, as you cannot truly die- die in the Expanse, and get launched back into your normal realm. You'll be unable to continue your conquest, but you'll have some fame as an explorer, and might be able to settle down, create a family, and pass on to your child the skills to take on the Expanse...

You'd think that would be something your children wouldn't need worry about, with all the people working on closing the rift? The Expanse knows no time. All that is known comes through a prophet- unless the twenty-one Lords of the Expanse are slain, the Expanse will one day begin to spread and cause the end of humanity.

With what little gold you have, you can buy a few things in town. You've got a few choices, but once you enter the Expanse, it won't much matter how much gold you have. Gold is not earned in the Expanse, however, there are shopkeepers who will trade for services inside.

Pick one of the following to buy, set up names of characters or other RP, and meet up at the Expanse Gate when you are ready.

I didn't see anything in the rules about a PM being required to play  ::) Oh well. This is why I don't use pre-ins anymore.

I'll buy the wedding ring.
Kyle walks into the tavern like any good mercenary going on a quest would.

Nah, it's not required. It was just that while I was discussing the core mechanics, a bunch of people jumped on it like "If you run this, let me know." I decided to be nice because PMs didn't really get out all that well.

Standard enchant
Class = Triage Reaper

((I reserve the right to change the class name when someone posts a better one, if posted before the next turn))

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

By the way my name's Ellise! Yep, thats a girl name. No, I don't wear these robes just to mess with people. Couldn't you tell by my voice? Yeah, I'm not talking to you anymore.. Cya. Ugh.. Boulders on this side of the continent are so rude!

"... I don't think I've ever met a woman who could have an entire conversation with herself, within thirty seconds."

The man was not fond of introductions. He was thin and tall, but he was also wiry. His head was shaven bald, in a careful fashion, and his eyes had a certain detached gleam to them. On his back was a whitewood bow, and on the white coat below it there was the red cross of the templars. No-one knew it for now, but his name was Donnoly. He walked away from the main group to appraise the items on display.

Buy a family register.

Weapon Enhancement, ideally something stealth- or movement-based.

This person refuses to reveal his? name or past. When pressed, he? reveals a name of Ash.

Ellise smirks. And I've never met a guy named Donnoly. Don't get me wrong, its quite fitting for a man of your.. Sterility.. How did I know your name was Donnoly? Why, the wind told me of course! She laughs wholeheartedly.
