If only the game was detailed enough for us to be able to be able to reasonably expect answers to questions like "Who's fighting?" and "Will we get invaded?"

Hmm. Yeah, I should probably give little news snippits or something to explain the Trade Environment shifts.

Build: mount trebuchets on the local fauna and use them to attack anyone who looks in my direction with an expression other than utter awe.

Build: Build a Laboratory. And a large trebuchet for retaliating at Dariush. (Oh Space-God, there's going to be a war now isn't there?)

Uh...You have 1 Food and 2 Basic Goods. You have a contract for an Advanced Machine, but without actually having one you can't build a Laboratory.

NOTE: There are no more Experts in the Colonist Pool, therefore only the 1 in the Available set and the 1 Reserved by Kashyyk remain. You will not be able to reserve any additional Experts in future Colonization Phases.


The Great Trebuchet Competition kicks off!

As a follow-up to the trebuchets that performed in the Sand Castle Destrucothon, colonists from Dariush, GreatWyrmGold, and evilcherry's colonies have gotten together and decided to hold a new competition.

Dariush: 6 (Catastrophic success)
GreatWyrmGold: 6 (Catastrophic success)
evilcherry: 5 (Exact success)

Sadly, an argument blew up between Dariush's group and GreatWyrmGold's group, culminating in a spectactular flurry of giant gourds that obliterated both teams trebucets. Casualties were minimal, fortunately, and all injured parties were treated for non-life threatening wounds.

evilcherry's group, who focused on actually hitting the intended targets, won the competition hands down. The other two groups argued that their trebuchets were much better, but since they had been destroyed the judges ruled them ineligible to win.
