"I'm a royal guard, that being said nothing could have prepared me for that. So I'm fine. So what awesome new powers do I have?"
Everyone but William and Mahriana.

"Power over darkness, don't use it on anything you don't want dead, just think of a time when you thought you could go no lower. There a reason why dark mages are so depressing. I'll show you the Vampire power if you let me."

"I suppose we have some time to try them out."
Kyle nods to himself in agreement.

"That was rather nondescriptly painful. But I can raise the dead and heal people as a logical extension, so I suppose it's all good," Yolantha says, rubbing here head to get any residual echoes out.

"Anyway, here lies the crux of the matter - what do you dead people want done? And how are we to do it? I assume you want us to somehow banish or destroy this demon thing."

Aria wobbles on her feet.

That was disorientating. I'm a little disappointed that we are only a little superior to normal humans. Means we need armour and weapons. Good job I'm the daughter of an armourer blacksmith.....

Aria then plops down on the ground and tries to create a ball of ice in her hands.

By the way, by 'living longer', just how much longer?

"I suppose we have some time to try them out."
Kyle nods to himself in agreement.
"Okay." Kyle feels like he was pull into his body.

Kyle? start speaking "The vampire." Kyle's body take on a shadowy aura as his eyes glow red "Bloodsucker, don't worry about a need for blood, but if you are injure, find something to bite to heal quickly. Another to notice is that the vampire is actually a very weak monster, but-" He appear behind William on the other side of the room in a instance -we make up for it in other ways. We also have limited shapeshifting, so remember, wolfs and bats and your mass." He changes to a pack of bats and flies back to the other side.

Kyle is push back into his body as it return to normal.

"That was rather nondescriptly painful. But I can raise the dead and heal people as a logical extension, so I suppose it's all good," Yolantha says, rubbing here head to get any residual echoes out.

"We sealed it once before, we can do it again. I would tell you how, but it a long list and I forgot most of it, but I know where it written down.

Aria wobbles on her feet.

Everyone via chain

"You're just borrowing it so first normal human lifespan because you will probable not get illnesses, you looking at 100 years plus whatever your monster would give you, in your and the knife lady case, nothing since I'm just a human with a helpful sickness and Tom long life is death based and thus doesn't work after the bond break. The angel and demon would give their hosts another 200 years and the Vampire will give Kyle a extra 50 years."

"Hooray for miraculous life extension, then. Also, you should probably give us a few hints. Right now. It's probably in our interest to know as much as you can tell us, considering that everything seems to be going completely wrong topside very quickly."

Mahriana looks down at her dress and thinks for a bit while the others shapeshift and such. "Sure, why not. Who needs a pretty face, anyway, right?"

"Well the ones here are most likely the shades, weaker then a human, but it can make a lot of them and they use anything a human can."

Mahriana looks down at her dress and thinks for a bit while the others shapeshift and such. "Sure, why not. Who needs a pretty face, anyway, right?"
"So be it." Mahriana feel the same thing. "Just take a deep breath, it will help."

Aria then realizes something.

Shouldn't we be on guard for people who could mistake us for 'real' monsters? i mean, monster hunters and holy men? or will they be able to tell we are just borrowing the power?

Whilst playing with her ice ball.

Also, is there any way to make the bond stronger, so that we become more powerful or have access to more of our benefactors powers? We are, after all, going up against age old evil and we might as well make the sacrifices if we are going to be like this for a century or more.

"I would be on guard regardless, even after word of ours deeds spread, there was no shortage of people who viewed us as evil. Still, it was nice that they were run out of town instead of us.

"I not used this before so I don't know. I can't think of why not."

"No, not hints on what's happening there, but a general indication of where..."

Wait a minute.

"People, we should probably be heading up quickly. There's no reason for us to be here. If we manage to save the queen and/or the king, we'll have some royalty who owe us a few favors. Queen's room isn't too far - I fell down it a short while ago, found this place really quickly."

She addresses the voice of Float.

"Can I fly when you take over?"

"Can I fly when you take over?"
"You can fly even without me taking over. I'm just the power source and back up driver."

"Alright. Who--Kyle shut up--knows how to get out of here?"
"The knife lady now has my earth magic, it would be easy for her to make short tunnels past any blockages."

"Not to my knowledge, but as I said it only a very small chance that you are. As for what you can do, if fighting not your style, well a war going to start soon, I'm sure a guy like you know when a business opportunities when you see one."
