"Well, it never hurts to ask, does it? And you, voices, this demon thing you're talking about, what is it? What does it want?"

"Wait, so I don't get anything? As in, I don't have to go follow you all and put my life on the line while I'm partially possesed? Does that mean I can just leave, go home and lay low until the whole thing blows over?"
Via chain

"You can, but in my experience the universe will move heaven and earth to throw you back into the fray if you are the last hero as Tom is guessing.

"Hm, those are rather notable downsides. What if we don't accept? How doomed is the world in that case?"

"Assuming that we can't find someone else to take your place, humanity will most like be grounded into dust, but it shall not be quietly into the night, humans are the worse thing to fight in a corner. Who know, they maybe able to hang on till the next heroes are of age, but that up to chance."

"Well, it never hurts to ask, does it? And you, voices, this demon thing you're talking about, what is it? What does it want?"
"'Nothing and it want nothing and it shall grind this world till there is nothing. It care naught for words, love and compassion.' The words of the holy man, Evil on Entropy the demon of the end. No we don't why the monk was called Evil."

These demon people seem like the real deal. To get things rolling, i volunteer as the first one to be...ahem....possessed.

Aria glances around rather nervously, putting her hammer away.

"I'd say that doomed is doomed. I mean it's not as if we are going to be harmed by this deal more than if we don't accept."
"...Y-yes...That's reasonable..."

"I suppose I agree with your deal."

Aria glances around rather nervously, putting her hammer away.
"Okay, umm how do we do this, Float?"

"Well, she has to clear her mind of thoughts, it not needed but it make it easier, also you may wish to sit. You, Adam need to sink into her head. When you hit a wall, that were you would stop if you were doing a normal possession, but you need to push through the wall. You, Aria, need to know at that point, it will hurt a lot, but keep your mind clear, focus on the pain if you must. When the pain stop then the possession is done."

Aria only

After a moment you feel very drunk and your limbs don't reposed, good thing you were sitting. Then pain hit. If you could scream, you would. The pain vanished and the feelings of drunkenness fade. "It done, Aria." come Adam's voice.

everyone

"I'd say that doomed is doomed. I mean it's not as if we are going to be harmed by this deal more than if we don't accept."
"...Y-yes...That's reasonable..."

"I suppose I agree with your deal."
"Okay, we are up."

Bitesti only

you go thought the same thing as Aria, but with this at the end

Bitesti and Aria

"And we are done, looking forward to working together, partner."

So what will happen now? what do i have to expect from this? what are the immediate advantages?

Aria blinks a few times. The pain was horribly intense.

Aria thinks for a moment.

Ok, show me the benefits. But before you do, will we get bonuses like immortality, super human abilities and suchlike? As skilled as i am with a hammer, i dont think i'd stand much of a chance against experienced demon warriors.

"Um, you don't have to show me...although, come to think of it...I suppose that the demon showing me what happens to me wouldn't be bad..."

(Bitesti isn't exactly thinking straight at the moment...)

"Hm... I suppose I will agree with carrying an unknown angel in myself. This demon sounds dreadfully boring."
"Okay, my name Float. Are you sitting comfortably? Let begin."

The feelings of drunkenness and then pain wash over you and then fade

Yolantha, Aria and Bitesti

"Hope that didn't hurt too much, miss."

Aria thinks for a moment.

Ok, show me the benefits. But before you do, will we get bonuses like immortality, super human abilities and suchlike? As skilled as i am with a hammer, i dont think i'd stand much of a chance against experienced demon warriors.
"Immortality? Nah, none of us were immortal, living longer? sure."

Aria feel herself getting pulled back and her body move without orders.

Everyone

Aria? speak with a slightly off voice "As for abilities, in normal form you are a little better, but as a rule of thumb, if it could kill a human, it can kill you. That said both me and Float and by extension you and green girl can heal the dead as long as it only been a minute or so, any longer and you are looking at Grace's skills."

Bitesti? also speaks "Anyway, magic is the big upside to our bond, tata!" a ball of flames appears in Bitesti?'s hand as ice form at Aria?'s feet "Remember the feeling of when I did that, kid. Also the other form." Aria? changes into a larger fur covered version of herself with slitted eyes "The werewolf. Not as powerful as it once was because you are only borrowing it, but that more then enough for most things, not to mention the nose, almost as good as seeing."

Bitesti? changes to a demonic and tall version of himself "The demon, big and scary. What more is there to say.

Both Aria and Bitesti feel themselves pushed forward as their bodies go to normal.

"I am ready for my voice thing to possess me."
"Sure." Drunkness and pain then fade. "You okay?"

"Oof..."

Bitesti sits down to recover, and after a minute tries to summon a little fire like the demon had.
