((Probably a good idea))

Begin to scavenge for any materials that may be used as a weapon. The more sciency, dangerous, and likely to backfire horribly, the better.

Become leader of new gang of prisoners, break out.
[5] You gather all the other prisoners to you and [5] escape into the city!
What shall you name this gang?

Good, good, now all that is left is to stock up on supplies. Irving takes the money from the teller-a-tron and makes his way outside the bank, trying to locate the store. He swears that street wasn't there before, or that building, or that whole... City block. Hm... Damn, they must be rearranging the city again.
[Bets on if Irving will get hopelessly lost?]
[5] Okay, new die. You find the store quickly. It was hiding in plain sight next door, but it takes more than that to fool Irene Love!
(Dansmithers owes you 350 zorkmoids and some "bugporn".)

Wait around the airport for my flight with a change of clothes and my new costume. Read if I get bored or experiment with my powers.
You mess around and eventually board your flight. It has stopovers across half the Eastern seaboard, so you'll be waiting until morning.
Also, what new costume?

grab my miltec scraps and laptop then pay a visit to one of these suppliers, buy some phlebotinum to fuel my reduction devices and ask if they have a workshop or lab available for use.
If facilities are available for use check my designs and see if i can build a shrink ray from scratch or if i can convert my tesla rifle by installing a phlebotinum focusing chamber.
If attacked go full demon and taser people with one hand whilst throwing people around with the other.

Hm, none of them have an address. You'll have to delve a bit deeper to get to a supplier. [2] Nope, looks like ordering online is about your only option with these guys.
You get an anonymous e-mail. "A big guy with metal on his back and arms is going to try and kill you. Just FYI."

Shit. Now what? I've got no leads. Maybe the triads could have some info that could help me.

Go back to the Triads and ask where this demon usually hangs out. Also ask for any other useful info about the demon (appearance, size, color etc.) and if I should engage when I find em.
[6] You head back.
"Good news. We've found where he is." You are given an address and a big, two-handed sledgehammer, probably 8 or 10 pounds.

When Oszkar wakes, he bolts upright. Oh dear. He hasn't had a dream like that in over 20 years. He was seventy-one then, he remembers, still young and restless. The eighties and nineties certainly were an interesting time.

Check newspapers and such for any intriguing, legit-looking opportunities to be a test subject for superpower induction research.
[2] Nope.

((Hm...))
"Seeya, crab-guy. Good luck 'nd all that."
Go off to some hardware store for some nice protective and non-smelly metals.
Along with some paint. Gotta look spiffy, after ally.

[6] Despite your appearance, you get what you need. They don't even charge you for it!
...Although this might be more because of your appearance. Huh.

Whyyyyy!?
Kyle vents his frustration on a nearby lamppost, then heads back home, while keeping an eye out for criminal activity.
[1] You see a man in suspicious and smelly armor robbing a hardware store!

Action: Deciding to showcase my abilities, I don my disguise and head off to the local fresh graveyard-summon up some ghosts and let them loose on the town! During the chaos, try to catch the local medias attention by doing something pointlessly destructive. Perhaps to indicate I did indeed cause the ghost related problems.

That should give those meddling heroes something to do.

[2] You try to summon ghosts to terrorize Chicago, but you can't concentrate enough to send them more than a few feet away.

Adi looks at the outfit. There were a few areas it left uncovered, but she could still cover those; all was not lost- she just needed some long gloves and shoes that went up to the ankle.
Adi looks for long gloves and shoes, boots perhaps?
[3] You manage to locate the boots and a pair of gloves--both intended for winter. So, snowboots and mittens. At least they're long mittens. Care to purchase?

Johnson Cheryl: [5,6,2]
You swear revenge, managing to salvage a prototype suit of powered armor and some other stuff from the rubble. The new armor includes the almost-required servomotors (allowing strength sufficient to lift a sufficiently-reinforced car); assorted weapons, including stun-fists (similar to tasers), a shoulder turret, and a flamethrower; an advanced computer including combat programs and a wide variety of others; and, of course, armor. I can't help but wonder what would happen if you met a certain CEO...

confront the man, using powers to morph my arm into something (relatively) non-lethal, just in case.

The trench coat and mask, Really that's all you need for a costume.
Get some peanuts and maybe take a nap, if possible talk with another passenger, if they are male have a normal conversation, if female flirt with her.

Oszkar, upon looking through the newspaper and finding absolutely nothing of any use, is a bit crushed. It's getting a bit difficult to get superpowers these days. It's just like with drugs, you see - used to be that you could get opiates just like that, but now they're all "controlled substance" this and "highly addictive chemical" that. Terrible is what it is.

Have morning walk through town. Keep an eye out for crazy superpowered people fighting each other.

order enough phlebotinum for a single shrink ray and shut down my laptop before storing it somewhete safe and heading outside.

Buy some coffee and wait for suspiciously metallic individuals to try bteaking into my apartment.

That... wouldn't do. That wouldn't do at all. Adi reprioritized- she could use regular shoes, and she only needed to hide her hands.
See if I can't make ankle-wraps and pockets.

Begin looking for others, either simple men with either skill, smarts, or strength, or other, weaker supers willing to add "villain" onto the end. Should I find any, invite them to work for me, and get a cut of any money they make.

I'd like to join, please! :D

Name: Damien Smith

Age: 21

Description: Damien is 5'10" and looks rather thin. He has icy blue eyes that can either seem cold and contemtuous or blaze with rage and hatred. His short and spiky brown hair has streaks of golden blond through it.

Backstory: Being the son of two C.I.A. agents is hard, but Damien managed. From the very beginning of his life, Damien felt a strong sense of right and wrong. His views on the subject have always been... Extreme, to say the least. He always knew about the beasts that lurked in the dark corners of the Earth, calling themselves "Gods" and "Emperors". He saw what they did to those who tried to oppose them. At age 10, however, life took a turn for the worse. Mikhael, Damien's father, was killed in a violent car crash. It was Damien's birthday. The other driver never stopped. Kendra, Damien's mother, seemed to grow more distant with every day. So, Damien turned to training, working out daily, drawing inwards. At 13, he passed the initiation exam for the C.I.A. He threw himself into his work the same way he did his training; Like a man possessed, he was constantly working, seemingly tireless. At 16, he began to see through the veil of lies. He left at 18, vanishing like a shadow in intense light. Or so the plan had been. Turns out, his mother didn't like the fact that her son no longer wanted to be a part of the lie they lived. She sent his partner, Emily, after him, knowing that he had a crush on her. The betrayal cut deep. Damien fell to smoking, mainly because he was already dying. Nobody knew what ot was, but they did know that it was slowly flooding his lungs woth his own blood. Damien has been in Chicago for three years now, watching these so-called "Heroes" duke it out with "Villians", gangs, and common crooks, often with little regard to the collateral damage. They were all too soft, and the Villians always got away, able to wreak more destruction on the world.
He'd show them. He'd show them all!
Lesson One: No Mercy.

Intended side: "Hero"

Motivation: Get rid of all "Evil", himself included. He holds no illusions as to the nature of his work.

Favorite Superpower: The ability to manipulate both light and darkness and use them as weapons.

Success! Due to lucky happenstance, they rearranged the city to where the market was right next to the bank! ...Wait. When has this ever happened before, it seemed too... Easy. Way to easy... Ohgoditsatrap--Irving looked around warily for a quick moment before fleeing away from the too-obviously-a-trap store at a dead sprint! He can find another store hopefully, one that isn't so obviously a trap, there was no way they would favor him like that, nothing is chance with them... I mean, sure, the next store he enters is probably a trap too, but damn them if they think he'll fall for the easy ones!
