Ditto for your GM.  I have work and school, after all.

Say, Ardas, while you're here, could the king give his verdict on keeping the large escort? I'm sensing that Alexandria is interested in Grewie leaving soon...and I kinda mentioned that I'd leave once I heard that from the king...

I said reduced escort. While Alex may have other plans and sends her agensts somewhere, I think my order was explicit. I am saying this only so you finallly get on with it.

Isn't city described in kingdom finaces report? Also, finances are Iituem's part. I will roll for city description if you are ailing for it, but if you want to imagine and describe the city yourself, go ahead. Just stick to the descriptions given before avbout city wealth and so on. This game is mainly RtD so lets keep this wordy and abstract.

Girls, chill out, there is plenty of king to go around!

In all honnesty though, i'm not on all the time so please bear with me while I get here and reply. Kingdoms have a nasty habit of falling and catching fire while I'm away...

Or when you are present, for that matter.

Don't forget I spoke to you at the end of the king telling us off shoot.

I can stamp my foot down and force my will on the court but then it won't be much fun for courtiers, now would it?

E: Unless Iituem overrides my decision here, Anastasia's primary skill is Combat. Since she is also a mistress-at-arms, she gains the secondary skill of Trainer Command. Although not as expert as a full time drill sergeant, she still is more than capable of whipping soldiers into shape and inspire discipline and respect in them.

Unless I'm mistaken, training troops falls under "Command", from the description Iituem gave me. Perhaps trainer could be training individual combatants?

On that note I don't know what I have to do now and I fear I'll just sit around the castle making snarky comments.

I'm terribly sorry guys, I'm posting from work. Not exactly in position to roll. I do advise the librarian to speak with the king again though or the chancellor, maybe taking some direct initiative in tacking illiteracy would work.

I'm still out for a few hours, but I'm posting for a quick opinion check.  Shall I convert the treasury to a numbered system for the sake of management?  Would it be easier that way, or do we want to keep it vague?

Numbers are probably easier to handle than the current system.

I played few king games, with numbers included. They aren't any easier.
