Ok, here we come! I found two glitched migrants there and will use them as my avatars

Two traders stood next to Fatpooch Hill.
- So, my dear rival, what do you think of this place?
- Quite a disaster, my very annoying companion. A lot of deads, unhappy dwarves, dusty stinky halls, few dare to settle here... I say we should close this project and cut the losses before we lost everything.
- You think? But I personally believe that this place can make us increadible rich! Just a bit more efforts and proper organization, and you won't this poor hole!
- So...you want a bet?
- Well.. yes. Stack is a million of golds, deal?
- Deal. Let's take a look at what we really got here...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Iden The Speardwarf:
- Hey! You two - who you are?
- We? well... we were going with last migrant gropu but somehow lost the way. And you? Are you of army?
- I am army. Follow me, sometimes it's dangerous here.

Journal of Tosid, Wealth Developer
Just when we arrived we found that halls are filled with corpses. That is not tolerable!
Manager has put the production order for coffins to the end of his list - what the hell? That's priority No. 1!
I took the labor of Architect and Mechanic since they needed new depot and new bridge finished ASAP. To the work.

Journal of Tulon, Cost Cutter
I had to become a chef medic here. The only medic here, to be honest. And a broker.
So, my only patien suffers from finger injure - uh-oh, when I was young we didn't think of such think as of "injure" - have legs and and hands? healthy! Go working!
At least I can have some practice on that guy.
That ghost at the corner makes me nervous. I hope his body will be buried soon.

Journal of Tosid
Hooray! things are doing better! We got 7 new migrants - we got a lot of work here, guys!

Journal of Tosid, Wealth Developer
With new workers we proceeded to the main project here - I mean adamantine mining! Of course, there should some precautions be made, but it sure worth trying!
We have dug te mining area and strand procesing area, with a few emergency gates between them (not linked to lever yet). I'm so excited about this!

Journal of Tulon, Cost Cutter
Bad news. We got ambushed by goblins - and Tosid was caught outside. I think she's dead or will be dead soon. We called to arms and stationed at the gates - Iden should have stand ground and marksdwarves will cover him from above. But with a battle frenzy Iden charged forward and got out of cover! Hell. He'll be outnumbered even if he'll manage to kill a few more gobbos.
Yes, as I thought, one pikeman knocked him down and cut his hand off, and elf maceman who led the squad finished him. We're locking the gate and opening conscription - newcomers have some figting skills.

Ambush is repelled - with no more casualties. We retrieved the corpse of Iden and found Tosid's body. I wonder what should I do about our bet?
I guess I shall go on and demand (or pay if I lose) the money from his Guild - bets are sacred for any trader!

And in the middle of fight some woocrafter got mood to make this:

Not bad, I must admit.

Oh, bad luck.

Journal of Tulon, Head Trader of Merchantlusts
We finally made that waterfall at Lizard's working. But at first it made minor flood, don't know why.
And we got another group of migrants. Maybe Tulon were right - with adamantine production we can attract much more citizens here. We started tangling strands from it, by the way.

Journal of Tulon
Oh shit.

Quickly, barricade that cavern!
Guards, be ready to attack!

Oops...

The thing ignited them! Civil dwarves catch the fire too and run in panic in all directions. Smoke is everywhere.

Wow. One of guards managed to clinc it and stabbed it with spear. True hero!

He got burnt a bit, but survived

And suddenly one of dwarves who caught a fire survived it! Wow.

So, we lost seven dwarves here, but we won.

Children throw the party!

Oh, finally the caravan! We were waiting so long here.
I ordered guards to meet them, and when they arrive - closethe gates. Just in case.

For a month we did nothing - just hauling items into depot. And finally, when they almost lost they temper...

((OOC: I am the first who hit the goal!))

And after huge hauling work to sort thing we bought - spring arrives!
And I'm upoading the save now - here it is http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=7844

So, who's next?

We're up to Saint now.

I survived two overseers? I should just do something life threatening while I'm on a roll. I want to hunt magma crabs, specifically the one that killed Peregar (Crabs don't leave the map, right?)

There are three crabs shuffling deep in the volcano, but no one wanted to hunt them, archers just stood at the edge of volcano under crab's shots.

It seems that our military dwarves don't mind being on fire. After all what had happened to the fort, being roasted alive became a fine option.

IT IS MERCHANTLUSTS, KIDDOS.

Great updates, Peregar! The goods were ready, and "Tulon&Tosid inc." was the first company to sell those in Merchantlusts in the most respectable way. :)

It's Saint's turn now.

I guess we should let Saint know about his turn. Like, PM him or something. He might be just too busy with "DF from scratch" project.
