Dariush:
I read it. I don't agree. How is it different from day 1 of any daystart mafia game?
Unlike a normal game, the scum cannot communicate. They cannot discuss whom to attack. They only begin to differ from townies after the first team has been locked.
So you're saying that all scumtells are derived from the fact that scum can communicate?

Quote
Do you still find this suspicious?

Yep. I still get a feeling that Remuthra expected the team to fail, and there is a spy lying low. Considering he was one of those voting to replace himself with me on D2 team, that feeling got intensified.
Then why are you fine with him being on the team?

So, instead of randomrolling, you would have used subjective reasoning you got from other games, since there is nothing to base your opinions on here (before D1 team lock, that is). Which is almost as random (because 'trustworthy' people are equally likely to be spies), but gives scum leader space to manipulate the results. And yet you somehow consider this scumhuntingless approach superior to my scumhuntingless approach. What a hypocrite.
Again, it's just like D1 mafia(or could have been, if we had had an unofficial vote).
You completely ignored my argument. I said that our approaches were almost identical, but mine left less room for manipulation. You... uh... gave a completely unrelated answer.
It's not unrelated. I'm saying it's not "almost as random". I don't agree that scumhunting would get us nowhere day 1.

Quote
And you didn't answer my question, scum. Why didn't you include yourself?
No, Luke, YOU are scum!

I explained why I don't want to be on team in #83. You're 'missing' a whole lot of this game, you know.
I meant the first mission. Why did you not include yourself on the first mission?

Nerjin: Yeah, sorry. I've sent it in now.

I'm downvoting it.

We've got 3 people including myself abstaining from getting picked, and most of the rest (>~50%) are just saying yea or nay to the team. Now while I would give a long-winded explanation of my basis of rejection, there's pretty much no communication I see at all between any of the team members at each other, for one. Second is that people are either waiting for a mission failure to do anything, or just keeping silent until something of note happens.

We've 3 spies, and we've 4 in this mission with 1 sabotage to win it. Rebels have 1/3 while spies have 0/3.

We're doing a repetition of the first team, but the last member strings something weird. This post. Assuming people would blame him because he's new? No expounding on the deal? Didn't say a word while NQT was busy doing a draft list, and somehow NQT didn't comment on his rejection post.

Nerjin goes on the hand of boredom. That is no good reason to confuse the obvious names. While I could see him assuming the first team, the wording was messy and he changed the shift of thought later on from his first assumption.

It's like people are just voting blindly without trying to do anything else.

So I'd like to ask why, 'specially to Nerjin and Remuthra on their reasons along with their views on the team.

TheWetSheep, too. Your views are contradicting, yet you push the card of disbelieving Dariush somewhere there?

In what situation? The one now or after a mission? Because I'll have a lot of ground to work for if I get to pick. >_>

And I've noted that you aren't still making note of what recently happened, NQT :/

I don't like the team because I'm a convenient scapegoat if there are spies on the team. I don't like it, but if Dariush won't go there's no better team we can have, so I'm upvoting anyway.

I doubt anyone's gonna throw that at you if it fails. It's basically just WIFOM.

And? What rational reason is there? Everyone is a convenient scapegoat! What's your difference?

Why is Dariush playing a giant factor there?

Dariush was on the last team. As for the scapegoating, I recognize that, which is why I'm upvoting the team anyway.

Remy, Dariush picked the last team but he wasn't on it.

We can still post, right?

Tiruin:
TheWetSheep, too. Your views are contradicting, yet you push the card of disbelieving Dariush somewhere there?
I'm not sure what you're asking here. You want me to contribute more? Well, there was the question I addressed to everybody, which everyone except Nerjin ignored:
Also, what do you all think? Is it more beneficial to state how we're going to vote beforehand, or let it be a mystery?

I think it's better to not say, since saying lets the spies know how to vote to blend in, or whether they can sway the vote in their favour.

As for my views contradicting, yes they are. I'm just voicing my views on the situation.

Nerjin:
I might be wrong sheep but... You still haven't posted your vote yet have you?
Were you meaning sent in my vote, or posted what I was voting?

I just got a hunch. This looks like it could definitely be a spy telling his partners that the spy who laid low would be the one to sabotage:
This leads me to believe that a spy has lied low on the first mission and will sabotage the second, thus implicating me. I realize that the same logic may apply to whoever goes in my place, but... hell, I don't want it to be me.
Of course, it could be that I'm just paranoid.
