Uh. If I understand the question, depends on their range. Like, if there was a Goomba one tile right of Ochita right now, he wouldn't be able to hit them without moving away (with Aqua Sphere, a 2-3 RNG spell).

Well, the enemy more likely. With that out though, smacking a foo around would be helpful as well. Seems like the others are planning on doing a shield wall/charge tactic, so there's that too.

I should also make a note that the actual sequence of actions is closer to the original MKW than FEF. Enemies don't automatically attack back when you attack them like in FE. They have to wait until their turn to do that (unless they have a specific Trait).

On that note, if somebody drops off the face of the world for a couple days, what happens? They get auto'd after a day or two, and then replaced from the wait list when the fight's over?

Pretty much, yeah.

Do creatures provide cover?

Only in a range sense. Just because there's someone in between you and your 2 RNG target doesn't mean you can't hit them anyway. Tactical decisions have to be based around this (which I'm fairly sure Dwarmin already understands, based on his strat).

Guys you're making it hard for me to position myself to get you all in my battle cry effect and still get on the front lines... I guess I'll have to wait for the next turn for an attack...

The actions are temporally wonky, anyway, since you guys all move at once. If you're basing your strategy around Battle Cry it might be best to set up some conditional actions next time. Turn goes up tonight or tomorrow.
