Then download the save and start :)

Good job enisea, no major accidents and dead people. :) And Godmist is an epic name, for a useless artefact.

I'd like to have a dwarf named after me please. Ring 'FengYun' Bronzeburn, the lumberjack.

1st Granite
Hereby I have been assigned the task of architecture of the quarters. I am Bogusbedus Dimpletorch by my name and see me by my creations of creativity and art.

2nd Granite
I shall commit our little community into building quarters worth living. This may take several years, but I wish that the year I serve in this position will forever transform the feeble minds of my fellow dwarfsdwellers into aestethic architects.

3rd Granite
First I need to locate a source of sand.

4th Granite
Sand has been located. I am assigning windows to be made.

27th Granite
The first and the second level have been half carved. This is not going too fast because of pick shortage.

1st Slate
I have ordered the forges to produce green glass windows, which shames me because I have visions of clear glass windows, but have no means to produce enough pearlash to a thousand windows.
The forges also produce picks nonstop to make this project flow through its schedule gracefully. You need three times the manpower and three times the time than what was planned on an ordinary schedule.

8th Slate
Orcshit! The destruction progresses too slow. I must order ALL the dwarves to the job!

23rd Slate

Alekrahey, Voracious Cave Crawler has reverted to a wild state!

9th Felsite

The first floor is becoming complete. Now is time for some floor demolition!

12th Felsite

The demolition plan has been completed. The floors of space will be brought down by controlled demolition... like pan cakes or concrete or... don't know how to describe it. The forces are immense.

16th Felsite

The new quarters have been 50% finished. At least this is my own judgement.

12th Hematite

A cloud of blinding sand has drifted nearby!

15th Hematite

The orcs that are besieging us are like just camping outside our walls.

22nd Hematite

I have ordered to mine out two more demolition floors underneath the now 7 stories demolition area. We are evacuating the craft items from the demolizion zone.

25th Malachite
A plenty of rags rolling about the floors. Something has to be done. The housing project is late.

24th Galena
The destruction pile is almost complete.

27th Galena
The merchants have been ambushed on their way here. It might be because I can't make sense of the lever descriptions.

7th Limestone
Today is the day! The floors will be destructed.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

15th Limestone
Three dwarves have been found dead one of them being Jimboo.

27th Limestone
Migrants have arrived. Too busy to go see them.

10th Sandstone
A necromancer in disguise!

15th Sandstone
The quarter enhancement is a mission impossible!

17th Sandstone
I've designated bedroom furnishings in the volcano district.

15th Limestone
Three dwarves have been found dead one of them being Jimboo.

WTF?!  I always thought it would be liver disease ...  Six years in, and Jimboo the Brewer was still living in meager quarters?  The BREWMEISTER in a dwarven fortress was living in meager quarters?  Ah, well.

That refuse pile on the surface still seems to be dumping stuff down into the legendary dining hall.  Was that part of the original master plan?

Wait, what? There was an original master plan? Sounds like a viscous rumour to me.

New quarters seem to be the way forward is it. Can I request a rather nice suite for me please?

Thing is, alcohol doesn't have a quality modifier. :P

4th Timber
A nymph has stolen a tome of life!

6th Timber
An ettin has come!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

16th Timber

The caravan has come! Then... an ambush. I chose to be a coward and seal off the fortress.

14th Moonstone
The caravan needs to continue its journey, we can't stay sealed off from the rest of the world. I'm mustering the military and preparing to sally out.

27th Moonstone
The goblin mass was still ambushing our entrance. Had little to do without sacrificing my military. A trader made the mistake to try visit a salvage site. When I closed the outer trap gate the goblin lasher was trapped inside to be torn apart by two of our drake raptors.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

1st Opal
The new mayor now has a new office.

6th Opal
Damn merchants are shooting our nymph. Or wait?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

5th Obsidian
Orcshit! Navatar has been possessed and is now requiring clear glass, tanned hides and rock blocks in a glassmaker's furnace. We do not have those.

OK, I got the save, but I won't be able to start until this weekend. Anybody want to be re-dwarfed? I for one don't remember my dwarf dying, so another round of naming will be first on the to-do list.
