I guess you could interpret the theme being there due to Gendry, which has some troubling implications for Targaryens sitting on the throne by the end. Also, I must say there was a second during which I thought the fucking rider at the end was Stannis, before I realized "oh right it's that guy". I want to see Jaimie giving Bran a push.

Pretty sure the title of that music bit in the soundtracks is "The Kingsroad", so I got the impression it was more a callback and noting that The Queen is marching along it. Don't remember if that motif is used for the Baratheons in general or not, though.

I seriously doubt that a member of House Stark has any difficulty whatsoever getting people to push his wheelchair around in Winterfell. That is a fun theory, though.

I'm actually more surprised he has authority to stop people from pushing his wheelchair around. Even in weird circumstances like these I can easily see people going "oh no he's an cripple in mind too but a noble so gotta take care of him" and proceeding to take him away for butt wiping or something.
EDIT: Also, regarding Barratheons, I am pretty sure Barra is long dead, so that's a problem.

Arya had consensual sex before Sansa did. I can't stop thinking of her as being the same age when the whole thing started, she's so short.
Also, Jorah Mormont is fucking Azor Ahai, if you disagree you're fucking wrong.

EDIT: That or Stannis fucking comes out of the woodwork riding on a fucking stag, saves Bran with a fucking baseball bat on fire, killing all White Walkers and assumes his place as rightful King of Seven Kingdoms, the ending is bitter because it's Stannis, but it's sweet because it's Stannis.

Yeah, I still think of Arya as a little kid, so that scene was a bit jarring. I know the actress is in her 20's, but it still felt weird to see.


Overall I liked the episode. I know a lot of people are chomping at the bit for action, but I like those 'night before the battle' moments where you get a deeper look at a lot of the characters and their relationships with one another. It had a bunch of good scenes in it.

A lot of episodes of earlier seasons were preludes. Lots of talking, not much action.
The difference is that the writing quality went downhill fast once they ran out of book material.
Which is why a lot of people consider the talky episodes to be pointless filler.

I think the Ayra sex thing was funny.
It's the usual teenage girl "sex is a special thing", and I swear she's got a look of disappointment on her face afterwards 

I liked how Tormund followed up his story by chugging a horn full of milk.

I think in one of the books they only used four, with the fourth being Maid, and "to protect women", which I don't think was omitted accidentally. I'm pretty sure there's no actual official version of the vow either way.
