Oh hey, that scene with Bran, Littlefinger and Meera was great. First scene I've found enjoyably good since... Well, since I can remember looking forward to the show. Skipped most of the Dany x Jon cave shipping, seems they were trying to capture Jon x Ygritte again, only rushing it sanic levels of fast because the actors all cost millions of sterling now. Bronn the real MVP, dothraki horse surfing made my eyes bleed twice, Dickon is a nice addition and FFS if only Jaime could've ended the war there and then. If only.

You are the Dothraki, one of the greatest cavalry forces in the world. Do you accomplish a stunning victory and prove your mastery of light cavalry warfare by:
A) using your superior mobility and speed to surround, flank, disrupt or otherwise maneuver the enemy into submission?
B) lure the enemy into a devastating ambush with a faked withdrawal, or utilize another masterful strategem?
C) charge straight into the enemy's shield wall screaming and/or surf on your horses?

If you've selected C), you're in the right show. Granted, the whole dragon thing did help break that line up before they hit it... in one spot. That thing was like three men deep! Just do a sideways run and burn everyone to a crisp! Or do what you just did, burn their supply train up and then bleed them dry over the next few days/weeks!

But yeah okay, that stuff wouldn't be so easy to show or exciting in TV narrative. There were pretty fireballs and stuff, so I guess it was an okay scene. There wasn't a whole lot of anything worthwhile in this episode, huh.

Boiling water bathtime, holding coal-stoked eggs, the funeral pyre of Drogo, the Wonga Khaleen tent party - show has her literally immune to fire, so much so that Dany will set herself on fire confident that it'll kill her enemies and leave her alone (evidently her lungs are also immune to smoke). It would be pretty metal to have Dany enter battle setting herself on fire just to gain a psychological edge against her enemies

Khal Drogo's pyre was more than just a cremation — Daenerys was burning the witch Mirri Maz Duur. This blood sacrifice, along with the magic of her dragon's eggs, created a perfect storm of sorcery that left her unburnt.
