Yeah, I'll vouch for Ford.

Captain Ford killed two King Mafias in King of the Mafia, I'd say he's actually possibly the best player on Bay12 in terms of identifying scum.

Noted reg. Ford.

You don't need to do that to reserve a position, but if you've got something in mind, PM me (should've mentioned this) and I'll see if I can stick it in there.

I'll also vouch for Ford. Having first-hand experience from his playstyle, he's pretty much a good player.

Only thing holding him back is RL...an-
Noted reg. Ford.
Oops.

Query though, the OP speaks of immersion, yes? Is Roleplaying possible - is it a crucial factor to the game, partly?

Ultra lame mafia spectator mode engage.

I remember you talking about wanting help comodding or something to that effect? If you want, you can sign me up for that. Otherwise, no problem, I'll be a happy spectator.

I meant primarily that I want to integrate a lot more of elements of literary narrative and storytelling into what you read. Essentially, I'd like a comparable amount of detail as I put in for Mein Kampf (boy, am I going to regret saying that).

Roleplaying is possible thanks to the aforementioned depth to your roles, but strictly optional. I'm not especially eager to introduce a lot of RP into a game where it's primarily about the people playing. Quadressence had this thing going where he/she RPed a female noir detective or something in her posts, and RP in that sense is not going to be an enforced element of the game.

I was planning on asking you about that, but thought I'd hold off until the actual game start is a little closer. Regardless, I'd love to have you as a copilot for the game, heh.

First of all, welcome to Bay12!

We are a friendly bunch, but I'd like to point this part of the OP out:

Nor is this a beginner-friendly game. I strongly recommend that you have played at least one BM and two other games. I also recommend you to have played a forum Mafia game in the last six months, so I know you are not overly rusty. I make occasional exceptions, but do not expect to do well unless you have exceeded the italicised minimum, and please don't expect me to take your request seriously if you have never played a Mafia game.

So, what kind of experience do you have playing mafia?
