1929
During the last year there were a number of small, meaningless engagements with our ships only getting lightly damaged. However, near the end of the year...
Three landing crafts came ashore. 60 men all up. This was a nighttime assault to try and take a nearby ammo dump. They crept along the shore like ghosts, past numerous pillboxes. They were just near the fence, and nobody was there patrolling. They snipped the fence and crawled inside, still not getting spotted. A few split off to go take out the officers and the rest stayed inside a warehouse. The others got back inside after killing the officers. This was going way better than expected. Then, it was time to attack. They ran out of the warehouse, firing and then taking cover. Then the TP-1s in the watchtowers opened up. The bullets flew and shredded their cover and the people inside that cover. At least 8 were decimated, and their comrades were heavily demoralised. A nearby LUP-40 surrounded by sandbags for AA purposes turned to them, and started firing HE shells. The hail of shells completely destroyed what semblance of fight they had left in them. ( And 12 or so men ) And they started fleeing into the night as the bullets took more and more of their number.
It was close, but the brave garrison men cheered. The person manning the LUP was given the first Valour Star ever awarded by the military. But, it became obvious that they needed more Anti-Ship power.
And now it was time to test the badger.

A TUP lined up a shot at the front armour, and let loose a torrent of rounds. All dinged off. The officials looked very happy with their new tank so far.
Second Test: Speed
It was lined up along a dirt track used by old farmers, but now it was a test of off-road speed. It sped along and completed the test in two very short minutes. The officials clapped.
Sadly the minister for finance is not giving you something new this year.
And the gunship was done this year. Sadly, no tests could be done, but it will make a valuable addition to the navy.
And now for the new blueprints.
