(A-a-a-action Redux!)
The Duke paced around his central office pondering a dilemma. With the destruction of Verona the coffers are now losing gold but the people are asking for an expanded military to beat back the raiders. Coming to a tough decision, he sits down and starts writing some letters.
Use 2 PC to increase might by 2.
Send a letter to the King of Primeria asking if they would like to make a defensive alliance in case the Jarls come down to raid us.
Edit: I also use my 4 unassigned Influence to increase the clout of the Technocrats by 1.

(I would still like to know exactly how much Influence is needed to make an AI nation friendlier to me.)

They thought their god had heard them, when the Mountain Men came down to save them. Their hopes died with the thousands of Men From the Iron Wall who died under the Hooves of the Khaganate, the Maces of the Soldiers of Higgs and under our Axes. Victory was complete. Sirta was almost ours, a ripe fruit waiting to be looted.

-Meanwhile close to the Border of Phantoni-

A Small armed Procession arrived at the Borders of the Duchies, their pelt cloaks and their bearded pale faces clearly  showing that they were Men from Finster, even without the Banner waving in the wind. It would soon prove that the men were no raiders but emissaries.

Mcclay you dont have the PC. You already spent two on sending two might down to me.
Right now you have 3,5 PC remaining and your actions are costing you 8 PC.

Actually 2,5 PC if I counted right. So he can only move down with 2 Mights, plus whatever he buy from Hark.

What, aren't we supposed to scheme in private? I don't see how anyone could meta.

Although we should probably organize this more like a game of diplomacy, wit real turns and secret orders.

Alarm my Allies and ask them to help defend Finster.

Also keep the Jonasburg Militia support and the other Regiment of the Khans ready for whatever comes down from the Iron Wall.

Yes on the offensive but not all. Jonasburg still has a Unit Ready for me as does the Khaganate both from the Sitra deal.

You know, with half the players already buggering off to IRC to plot, the game lost its appeal to me, although I'm the dumb one for not expecting that.
