Yeah I did. It really isn't as corrupt as it sounds. There are cases that break out from time to time, but it's not exactly a epidemic. There's too much arguing for anyone to get away with corruption without the other party noticing. And they WILL make sure he goes down. Another thign in america about the 2party system, it sure raises standards for your performance. If you fuck up, they WILL let you know. Always looking out for a advantage, a zero-sum game.
1. All media representing the massively broad political spectrum of option 1&2 (because no one else is taken seriously) deliberately detracts from actual issue and misleads public opinion.
2. Political candidates frequently avoid accusations of corruption because such allegations would expose their own corruption.
3. Lobbying.
In terms of freedoms, in how many European Counties are you allowed to own a flamethrower?
*In most European countries this would be a war crime.
How about slander politicians?
*We got shows devoted to that.
Also, jus tbecause you hear there is common detention without trial, doesn't mean there is. Habeas Corpus is still fine, and Police gunning people down is pretty rare, certianly more rare then people gunning other people down (That's why you live in a safe city like New york). Frankly I can't remember the last time that happened, and when it does there is outrage.
Everything SalmonGod's said and more. There is gratuitous censorship in the "land of the free," police shooting you should not be a looming threat that exists in the first place, in the UK our idea of responding to police shooting an innocent person is rioting and in America... Stockpile ammunition, do nothing.
Besides, Flamethrowers. And Thermite. And explosives. And Poooooorn.
Weapons of death's construction aside, seeing as I was the one who brought this up: Iceland is not banning porn. They are making ISP providers enforce a policy where those who want porn on their internet have to request it via tick a box.
This has already been heavily criticized for censorship.
I'm actually temped to say the US. Despite all the shit we go thorugh, most of our laws and rights remain the same.
*The Ancient Greek city states that flourished were the ones whose laws could be changed quickly to better suit the world they lived in. Democratic states funnily enough.
*The rest stagnated.
Corruption gets crushed
[Never]
If someone decided to post a video of Obama getting butt-F***ed by a slur spewing Clown, there ain't a damn thing you can do about it.
Just like most all European countries...?
And many are honest, especially with the Freedom of Information Act. You can have trouble publicising it, but you sure can't hide it.
CIA says no.
In conclusion, I'd have to say Atlantis. They got their shit together.
Fuck no. R'lyeh all day.
In other countries (even in Europe) its common for police to beat suspects without any evidence. Also the right to remain silent doesn't exist.
?
There are plenty of police shootings in other countries too, they're just not on USA news.
British police
do not even carry guns.My brother in Japan was told by his work that Europe was in ruins, that there wasn't no more energy, and that they let the corpses on the streets
In China they call Europe the land of the ever-setting sun, because we have nothing to look forward to. In Britain we say we've got no sun because cloudy all day everyday. Breaks the metaphor a bit, but just about everywhere that's not Greece and Italy are doing awesome in the EU.
I mean really, do you actually read or find out any american politicians views before deciding that?
Barack Obama - Tax cuts to rich, quasi-equal healthcare and welfare, giga-military, continue wars, break the geneva convention because why the fuck not, censorship is fun, torture is fun, executions are fun, media monopolies are fun, nomenclature sucks, copyright the world, put no one involved in corruption on trial, and that's just to name on the top of my head.
Riiiiiiiight.
The US has a larger swath of ideology then most other countries (Funny given the 2 parties), please don't mistake that for, whatever.
[I have yet to see a democrat republican or a republican democrat].
Sorry for the anger, but I do tend to get angry when defending my countries. Same thing saying a racial slur against your race. Fine with saying it yourself, but you'll be DAMNED if you let some other race do it.
Odd eh? I read this and it sounded completely reasonable to me. The rage did not register at all.

The UK can be brutal for the low class, especially in Scotland. So it's a conditional one.
