There's also more than a little similarity with B5, to the point where some serious allegations have been raised in the past. However, The Sisko is decidedly much more badass than Sheridan could even hope to be.

DS9 is much more high budget, and it really shows; both in terms of what they could do and what they could show being done. I think that as much as anything else allowed them to put a bit more stuff in than a typical B5 episode.

The great quality of season 4 doesn't get any worse, you have a lot of great episodes to look forward to.

A few things that aren't spoilers to Haspen but might be to anybody who hasn't seen Season 4. I'm trying to avoid actually spoiling anything:

The Dominion arc is resolved only in the finale, expect a lot more Jem'Hadar and Weu'un or however it's spelled.
More intra-alliance angst, but not of the Klingon type.
The first quarter of Season 5 is nothing but war war war, just don't think that the entire show from that point on is how things are then.
Don't worry about Odo, you'll be happy for him by the end of the series (Though you'll be WTFing at him pretty soon)

The Animated Series used to be on Netflix, before they got rid of literally every anime I was in the process of watching in addition to a few other films that I really enjoyed.

Compared to Season 4, I have to say that Season 5 of DS9 is... better.

Dunno why, it just feels more interesting than the 4th. 'Trials and Tribbleations' was a nice one, same for 'The Ship' and 'Apocalypse Rising' :3
