It's really not that hard to identify different tanks. They're not allowing any of the captured vehicles, so it's pretty easy to tell the difference between a Panzer IV and a T-34 or M4. The only thing I've really even noticed would be easy to screw up on is the difference between the early American lights and the Panzer 35(t), in which case you take a little extra time to figure out if it's brown or grey.

If you're really, really unsure about the allegiance of a tank, though, just see if it tries to shoot you... and hope they're not as unaware as you are.

Oh, no, it's planes, too. The Germans mostly stick to Stukas and Bf 109s, though, and if you're playing a tank none of that matters anyway because you're probably not going to be shooting up at anything that's not actively going after you.

The key is patient observation. If you see a tank, don't snap shot. ID the target first. Even planes can be identified pretty easily visually, and if they can't, you're probably too far away to shoot them anyhow.

Right, whatever cocksucker decided to increase repair times to HOURS for TIER ONE VEHICLES needs to die.

Particularly as they donot repair when you are on another preset, or playing another nation.

AFAIK, repair times are fairly short but they get stupidly long if you switch out the plane/tank for a different one. Playing other nations shouldn't affect it.

Its been that way for a few days, close to a week.

And the times are really, really really random. "Man repair time for this tank is 3 hours 45 min, but the one right before it in the tree is 43 min"

How do you disable paid repairs? All my tanks auto repair and I'm getting poorer all the time

There are two checkboxes next to the presets button and above the second vehicle in the list. The one on the left is repair, one on the right (which I keep ticked) is ammo.

I have been playing T1 tank battles, and to me it feels like the american tanks are OP, my Pz3 cant go toe to toe with the stuarts.
I am also playing Sim which might have something to do with that.

Stuarts have nice fast guns with nice penn, but they have plastic wrap for armor.

Well, I will be sitting at range against one, cant penn it, but after a few rounds my tank will have it suspension shot to pieces and be eaten away.
