Have to ask. Is this funner than WoT since you can fly planes too?

Planes are tanks are kinda disconnected. Planes have their own seperate objectives beyone the "tank map".

Basically it's kinda like "Crater" (arcade map) with tank players having a tiny playground in them iddle while aircraft buzz around doing their thing.
Note however that aircraft were disabled so for now its only tanks tanks and more tanks on the ground and hte only aircraft are AI at most.

Personally i don't like the way the tanks handle but that's just my opinion.

I think the tanks are great and realistic for the most part as far as I can tell

Some people complain that the ground is made of ice but I think making a sharp 90 degree turn while driving a 15 ton hulk of metal at 40 km/h is a good enough reason to lose control.
I'd say it's funner than WoT.

I feel like Jeremy Clarkson every time I try to turn a tank. Oversteer everywhere. Oh, and the T-50 and T-34-L11 are definitely OP. I do so well in them compared to how I don in anything else, even aircraft.

The only t-34 i do good in is the 1940 variant. 41 and 42 get consistently one shotted by superior german equipment ;P
But i heard good things about the t-34-85 and i will continue down this line. Maybe even play a bit with the russian destroyer line as well but no kvs, they're just too slow for me. All in all it is the most intense combat experience i ever witnessed in a game so far, i just love this!

Soo i sneaked up on a T-50 nad unloaded one shell into its rear. Engine broken fuel tank yellow.
AAnother shell and the tank has neither fuel tank nor engine.
In the meantime he slowly spun his turret around and 2 shotted me... BALANCE.

I'm pretty terribad at the tank portion. And the matchmaking is hilariously bad, even for beta. Starter T-26 against a group of Panzer IV's? Yeah, that's an inducement to keep playing....

It's got potential but I think I'll stick to the skies.

For russian players, if your t-34 has 76mm gun load HE! Big difference in killing power in my t-34 1942. Good luck!

Actually scratch that. Load your best AP rounds and aim at the left of the turret to disable gunner and commander hopefully or back and sides of turret if the other driver is not careful.

I stepped into a T-28 earlier and was one shotting everything on the battlefield my first match using it.

They gotta do something about APHE shells demolishing entire tanks at once.

Then I unlocked the T-50 and became an invincible racecar.

sounds about right, then you get to t-34 1941 and kv-1 and if your team wins any matches its a good opportunity to drink a bottle of champagne

well...that was kind of annoying, see some kind of TD, shoot out its tracks then drop an artillery ontop of it, saw 4 shells land onto it and then drive away as if nothing happened

While I did find the tank game somewhat more satisfying in simulation mode, I'm playing on a laptop with low graphics which is a BAD thing.

"Hmm....is that greenish-gray blob a tank or a tree?"

*BLAM* Returning to hangar....

Weird, I'm playing on a laptop with settings low and it actually looks really good.
