I log in to the server, decide to try my hand as a Station Engineer (haven't played as an engineer, or anything other than assistant, for many moons, so figured I could use the practice).

Get in-round and find that I'm the only player online (apart from one guy who logs out as I log in).  All the lights are out.  Fair enough.  I've got the internet at my fingertips.  Guide to hooking up the solars, here I go.

Make my way down to engineering in the dark, get hardsuit equipped and set myself up.  Head for the southern solar array and, by some miracle and about ten minutes of blindly wiring, manage to get some power running from them (40000 W, so I assume I messed up one of the wiring junctions and missed out an arm or two...more wiring practice needed, evidently).

Set that solar's SMES to charge but not output, so I can come back in a bit and start 'er up.  Head towards the north-easterly solar array, so I can get somewhat balanced power going.

As I make my way up there, I start to get O2 warnings flashing, so quickly flip my internals back on.  Has there been a hull breach?  What would have caused th-

Oh crap.

Space carp.  Space carp everywhere, particularly around the northern half of the station.  I'm amazed that I managed to hook up the south-east solars without being disturbed.

Right, change of plan - flee back through the station to the south-west corner, to see if I can get those ones up and running.  Poke my head outside the airlock - no sign of space carp.  So far so g-

Cue a panicked run back inside the station...but to no avail.  It caught up with me in a maintenance corridor and I, the last inhabitant of this godforsaken station, died gasping in pain and darkness.

...I'd forgotten how much I loved this game.  :)

Now imagine it 3d, with two TOWNS in a massive asteroid connected by tunnels... and the towns occasionally attack eachother...

I was thinking it but I have no idea how to code. And the idea was more of "live a life" than rounds of death.

My bad: we had a GameType vote and when I went to vote sandbox, my vote screen refreshed at the same moment and I ended clicking Nuke by mistake.  Wouldn't let me recast my vote, and got stuck in a 'needs 20 players' loop.  :-[
