Walking around in the bombed-out, dark, carp-infested wreck of the post-Welder station was creepy as fuck. With nothing but my PDA to light the way, it felt more like a horror movie than dealing with the Welder itself did.

I saw someone who was basically making a 3D, first-person version of Space Station 13 who was playing up the dark, scary part as much as possible. Which did kinda disappoint me, since it's pretty rare that the station actually goes completely dark, and there's a lot more to the game than horror.

Was it Centration? That's been circulating for a little while now, yeah.

Also, did you know that there's about a 1/500 or 1/5000 (IIRC) chance that the game will play a scary sound in complete darkness? Now you know! This is also sometimes, but rarely, why you hear "I SEEEE YOUUUU" in the maintenance tunnels and then you just shit your pants. It is also why you should NOT idle in the dark and surf the internet in the meantime.

Because trust me, that is the last thing you want to hear when you're not paying attention. You WILL shit bricks.
