As a non-religious person, I'm baffled by the manner in which Popeifying is done. Why is the mouthpiece of a god an elected position? Can you write your local cardinals in an attempt to get someone elected that's closer to your values? Why the hell are they all so old? (inb4 flaming, I actually want answers to these questions. I'm legitimately curious.)
