From all the stuff that's been going on around this case, screw both sides.  The police may not be the best, but the protesters have caused over 100 murders as a side-effect, destroyed several businesses to the point of being unable to recover, and caused three towns to completely shutdown in fear.  Hell, even if they wanted to say 'not guilty', the jury might just call him 'guilty' out of fear that they'll be lynched in the resulting riot.  Which quite frankly, I think that with either decision there's gonna be a friggin' riot.

Murder statistic may have been combined with all the stuff going around in St. Louis.  It'd be a pain to differentiate, so let's call the over 100 hearsay for the time being, but I don't doubt that there were at least some perpetuated.

You know, this could wind up ranging from 'evidence convinced us' to a 'we're tired of all the shit you're bringing down on us, you're having our school systems shutdown, you're having businesses closed in fear, get out' towards the protesters.

If the evidence is murky, it looks like the latter won out over 'fear of lynching'.

Edit: Protesters are already throwing bottles at officers.  *sigh*

Edit: Apparently some of the witnesses had their statements debunked by physical evidence, proved contradictory to other witnesses, and a variety of other things.

Also, more schools closed.  Two interesting things, 'University City' and 'Center of Clayton' are both closed.  It's gotten to the point portions of cities are worried enough to close down.
