So, the Chain Devil is now looking VERY pissed. He was going to go after the guy who threw that dagger at him, but he recognizes silver arrows as the bigger threat. Firt off, though, he commands 4 chains in the pile he's standing in to rise up, lengthen, and grow spikes. Now, being 15 ft, they barely have the reach to attack anyone in the room from the center(this is a 30x30,remember?), so all 4 attack the scout who just let off an arrow....but the nimble scout dodges them all! He then moves up right next to the scout, growling out in common "I'll feed your soul to the lords of hell, wretch!"

Would I be able to avoid burning my teammates if I used my fire breath on the chain devil and some chains?

I hope the devil survives until next turn. It'll be fun demoralizing it.

I charge at the devil and slash at it with my blade!

Damage roll (If hits, +2 for charge): 1d10+7=13 nonlethal damage.

Also, I set dodge to the Chain Devil, so my AC is 22 (-2 for charge, +1 for dodge)

I'd roll, but I haven't figured out if my Clever Plan would kill everyone else as well as the enemy.

You might be thinking of the feat shape breath. Right now, though, the chain devil is right next to renark, so breathing at him risks collateral damage
