>Attempt to tell her your condition
You are slightly miffed that other people either have more obvious conditions or ones that can be easily hidden. You seem to have hit the jackpot for annoyingly semi-invisible disabilites... Is that a thing?
You tap your throat lightly and shake your head. Emi looks confused for a moment, then her face lights up.
"You're deaf!" She declares. Her mood falls quickly when she sees your face, however. "Jeeze, it was just a joke!"
This girl...
You attempt to indicate that you would like to run, but Emi has difficulty understanding your guestures. Eventually you shrug, giving up, and start running on the track on your own. Emi goes off to take a drink of water, but stands bolt upright, splashing herself inadvertently. "Class!" she cries, bounding off before you can do anything.
What a strange girl, you think, continueing your run.
You aren't particularly used to working out, so you only run two laps. You sit down to breathe, silently wishing there was a way of working out that didn't make you tired or sweaty. Or make your muscles hurt. Maybe a way of working out where you didn't have to move at all. That would be perfect.
Well, you're finished running for today. You do feel slightly less disturbed at the NIGHTMARES, though you doubt imagining yourself getting mummified will ever be not disturbing. There's still plenty of time left in class, if you want to do anything else. You probably shouldn't stay on the track; You should avoid getting caught if at all possible.
