Especially given that more orthodox sects believe that the bread and wine are literally transformed into Jesus's flesh and blood! Creepy, just like every cult whose holy symbol is a torture/execution device. Which was used to kill the holiest people in their religion. And don't get me started on their other laws and traditions. Creepy. Who would do that to a newborn?

This is another of those paragraphs that I mock religion.

I am really getting tired of reading this 'western' ideology without backing that I'm really getting the idea that you're picking up these things just to poke at the religion (instead of the wrongs being done due to interpretation from said religion) :/ I mean, I understand that there are religious extremists and their following beliefs in the west...

Also, you make good arguements as to why the older traditions of Christianity don't make sense; I've always felt that the people I'm surrounded by in church are stuffy and backwards, even while believing the same generals things they do. I do believe in the truths, I don't believe in any of the traditions.
Canada (and probably the US) celebrate Remembrance Day, in order to remember WW1 and WW2, as well as a whole slew of other wars. We do this in order to remember how awful they were so that we don't repeat history. I've felt that some of the traditions originated from parts of history that we should be remembering how awful they were; so that we don't DO the stuff from those particular traditions. However, I digress.

Back to our regularly scheduled Warrens suggestions.
