Cataclysm has some pretty nice stuff coming up in the next few updates, and lots of bugfixing.

The poll received many more votes (after the series were ended) than i've expected, and thusly a return is in order. I cover 0.1v of DDA (Although v0.2 was released just today!). Barry the Baptist makes an appearance in the zombie apocalypse world, swinging dead children around as if they were sledgehammers.

Because hey.. They are.

Boris Urinov, AKA The Blade, AKA The Bullet-dodger is on the run, and apparently there is just no way to kill the bastard. 3 hours of recording, 7 days of mutations, cyber-implants and swinging a machete at everything that moves, and he is still alive and well.

At this point, he is essentially a machete-wielding version of Spiderman.

After Boris dies (which may happen any time.. or never, because the bloody Uzbekistanian has all the dodge in the world) we will proceed with other roguelikes, as voted in the poll.. all those eons ago. Unless the majority of people decide that Cata is still the way to go.. Hmm. Poll reset.

This run is probably going to be as good as it gets. I'd say move on to Prospector.

I'm voting other just to be contrary. Do a short run with the classic: Nethack. ADOM is fine too if you're familiar with it.

EDIT: Try out Teleglitch too. It's more of an action game but it is put together like a roguelike.

I'm partial to NetHack, but anything old school would be fun to see.

I generally don't watch or comment on a lot of LP's, but I have to say I've been getting a lot of entertainment out of your's Stworca.

Great, now i'm under even more pressure! (cheers!)

So, summing up this poll, and everyone except the winner from the last one, we have :

- 2 games of Prospector
- A game of Dwarf Fortress
- A game of ToME

DF i don't look forward too, due to my very poor understanding of that roguelike. We will, however, endure the hardship, by strangling everyone with our engraved pig tail loincloth (the picture shows dwarves and dwarves in pig tail, the dwarves talk with the dwarves)

After that i'll do either another Cata run, or one of the "OTHER" games. I think it was a Tie between IVAN and Nethack.
Then the poll will reset, unless one of the above (Prospector, DF, ToME, Other) gets a crushing support, prolonging its lifetime by a few more attempts (what happened with Cata, which outnumbered all other votes combined 3:1)

We shall see.

How many specials does it take to screw a light bulb?
Is it even possible to kill Boris the Blade?

Find out in Episode 13, part 5 of Boris' adventures!

If I had to create a victory condition for the game it would be finding the cure for the zombie virus and putting it into the water supply and turning the water back on.
But zombies don't drink water...

No but all the survivors will become immune.

Ignoring that these are magic zombies.

So yeah you would have to kill Glaaki or whoever the eldergod of the undead is called.

Actually they are Magic, Science, and Radiation zombies if I had to guess. All zombies in one spot.

the zombies get cured as they eat you.
