"Wunderbar," The captain said, with a slightest twinge of a smile. It was fake, of course. He had gotten rag-tag clowns when he actually wanted discipline soldiers. Discipline, he always had thought, makes men brave. Chaos breeds cowardice. All the same, he sat at the captain's chair in the middle of the bridge looking pensive, yet content, as he contemplated their mission.

Review instructions and briefings for where they should go first.

                                                Turn 1

Sean O'Driscoll

((Right. And away I go!))

"Yes sir."
Sean walked back to find the robot. If he was going to be working here, he could not have that chipper little droid running around and bugging him.
>Find robot.
>Modify it so it's personality is less... irritating.
>Proceed from there to the engine rooms.

Sean finds Robo boy doing the hokey pokey in the hallway. " Hey, get your tin can over here."
"What is it sir, how can I help?!" Robo boy said as he ran over to Sean." The Irish man violently
turned him around, opened up his back panel, and began to reprogram him. Sean worked at it for
ten minutes, and  ( Mechanics check: roll 2 + 1 = 3 ) he seemed even more annoying now then
he did before he worked on thing. With a defeated sigh, Sean left the robot alone, and went to his
engineering console in the warp core room.

Stanislaw Chuzhinsky

Stan felt like he could just fly away and dance among the stars at any moment, which was somewhat justified by the fact that he totally could. Damn it feels good to be a pilot.

"Hello, dear friends and companions! My name is Stanislaw Chuzhinsky, but all of you can call me Stan. I don't know about you, but boy, am I glad to be here today! I will be your pilot for this trip to end all trips, and I intend to perform my duties to the utmost of my ability! Any questions?"

Familiarize myself with the navigation console and make sure I remember proper launch protocol and other fancy stuff. Prepare for launch once Captain and Command give the go-ahead. Listen to some music and stroll around the ship, checking up on the various amenities and accommodations for the crew.

Stanislaw went over too the navigation console, and looked it over. He was amazed at it's complexity.
It was unlike the ship controls of any thing he flew before.

( Consoles in Random frontier are very powerful. They let you use all sorts of techno babble
to do almost any thing the console could reasonably do. If it could
be done on star trek, then you may also do it. As long as it makes some sense, is not
overly powerful, and only uses systems and functions the console has access. You will, however
need good roles, and sometimes multiple turns to accomplish it. The navigation console uses
the engines system, and it  controls the ships maneuvering, speed, and warp drive. It also comes
with a interactive galactic map. )

"well this will take some getting used to." Stanislaw said, as he left to take a look around the ship.

 Leon S Malard

Leon looks around blankly then scratches flakes of dried blood from his shirt.

"Good day, my name is Leon S Malard and I'll be the ships butcher chief medical officer.
If you need something sewn up, cut off or bolted on I'm your man.
I can even cure the common cold.
"

Head down to the medical bay, assess my medical staff and medical bays then access the console and check the systems to learn how they work.

Leon walk away from the bridge, and down the hall that led to the medical bay, humming a
tune the whole way. He was happy to be on this ship. Not only will this crew need plenty of
their own limbs reattached when the unavoidable event of aliens boarding, and mutilating everyone transpires. but he will also be able dissect said aliens! It really was a win, win for him

Upon entering the medical bay, he saw the various items of the doctors trade, such as medical
tools, and medications. Their also were chemicals for his organic research, and storage tanks for any
alien organisms he captured. A med kit, and a hand held medical scanner were laying on the surgery
table in the middle of the room. Next to it was the life support console.

Leon examined the console, so he could figure out how to operate it. He found it ( unlike every
other console, ) very simple, and easy to use. On the screen were instructions on how to
change the air density, temperature, and gravitational force of any room on the ship.

Simon Tallage

Simon nods to the assembly.  "I am Simon Tallage, the science officer.  This is a glorious event for all of humanity!"

Examine what space and planetary scanning options the bridge offers.

Simon started looking at the sensors console. Skipping over the complex stuff, he went straight
to its list of functions.

It has control over the long, and short ranged sensors. It also has the
ability to launch probes, and can send out high level pulses of radiation. Finlay, It can use
various nonlethal technology's the crew finds on their journey. It uses the sensors system to run.

Amy Stanton

"Weapons Specialist Stanton, here," Amy said, flicking her lighter closed and putting it away. She took a few puffs from her cigarette, then slid off the console to give the rest of the crew a lazy sort of salute with the first two fingers (holding the cigarette between them, no less) of her left hand. "You need shitheads shot, I'm your girl. You think enemy vessels need a couple of holes in them, I'm your girl. You want some asswipe's teeth broken, I'm your girl. Otherwise, don't waste my time. 'Kay?" She grinned, putting the cigarette back in her mouth, and sauntered off to find the ship's armory. The weapons needed inspecting. "God do I love guns."

Go to the armory and see what sort of weapons we have on-board. Then find the consoles to control the guns and familiarize myself with the controls.

( Since you are already in the bridge, I will just have you look at your console first.)

Army started examining the weapons console. Most would think that it was overly complicated, army
just thought it gave her more ways to kill things. She quickly looked over the users manual.

( In combat you can ether use the targeting assist, which will target a random system. Or you
could manually aim at a system. Manually aiming gives you a penalty of -1 if you target a
noncritical system, -2 if you target a critical system. The ship is currently equipped with a laser
canon, which dose medium damage to shields and systems. And ten plasma torpedos, they
do low damage to shields, but high to systems. Their is one empty slot on the ship for a
additional weapon, and weapons can be removed to make room. The weapons console
uses the weapons system to run. )

After she finished reading, she went too the armory to get some supplies. Inside, Amy
found crates full of laser rifles, plasma rifles, plasma grenade, laser pistols, plasma launchers,
utility tools, light combat armor, and heavy combat armor. Her mouth was watering.

Johann von Moltke

"Wunderbar," The captain said, with a slightest twinge of a smile. It was fake, of course. He had gotten rag-tag clowns when he actually wanted discipline soldiers. Discipline, he always had thought, makes men brave. Chaos breeds cowardice. All the same, he sat at the captain's chair in the middle of the bridge looking pensive, yet content, as he contemplated their mission.

Review instructions and briefings for where they should go first.

Wanting to go over his M.O one more time, captain Johann turned on his holographic
watch, and played the audio file of his mission briefing.

"I don't need to tell you captain, how important this mission is. Humanity is on its last legs, every day
millions die of hunger, and disease. If nothing is done,  we will soon be nothing more then bleached
bones, on a desert planet! This is why we are sending you on this mission. You know how, and will
do, whatever it takes. This time failure really is not a option, and I believe you will come
back successful." "Thank you sir, I wont let you down." " Good to hear, now that enough
lollygagging, time for your M.O. You will be going to planet P.L 609. It is a whole solar system over,
but the egg heads in the  the labs say that it could be able to support human life, so that's were
you are going. We do not know what you will find there, or what you will find on the way there.
We don't even know for sure if that F.T.L drive will be able to get you there. But going head first
into the unknown is what you are best at. Now go say goodbye to your family. You will be leaving
in the morning, dismissed!

Use another console to bring up a list of the ships crew and what jobs they do, examine details on any other medical staff for past experience and training.

Bring up records of any known species not native to earth.

Sean opened up the functions of the console, running a basic diagnostic on the systems. If there were any problems, he would need to know now.

"Nice as hell." Amy grinned and closed the crates after taking a laser pistol. No need to pack a whole bunch of equipment around in a non-combat situation... but at the same time, having a pistol close to hand was always reassuring. She tucked it away and went back to the bridge to examine the map.

Amy takes a laser pistol and heads back to the bridge to memorize the map.

"Alright, people. Let's do this, eh?"

Make sure I am ready for launch! Get comfortable in the chair at the navigation console, make sure coffee and donuts are on hand (not on the console, but on a nearby table). Play appropriate music.

((Curses, someone took the Medic position :/

Wait, all roles are taken...

Ugh.))

You suddenly feel as if your numbers will be bolstered in the near future, though are unsure whether this is a good sign.
