"We now join patrick mays, who is on scene at the New Mexico space port. Were the
Imperial Unicorn is preparing to launch. How is it over there pat?" "It is truly amazing jane.
Thousands are gathering here to watch the historic launch of this remarkable ship.
Never before have I seen any thing like this. "Do you know if the crew is there yet pat.
Are they still coming in?" "So far four crew members have entered the ship, including the
captain. I have been told that their are two that have yet to arrive but will soon.
They are the best we have so I am sure they will make it here on time." "One last thing before
we go to commercial patrick, is their any wor...."

Sean turned off the holographic display on his smart watch when his taxi arrived at his
destination. He was one of the Imperial Unicorn's six crew members. A fact that made him more then
a little nervous. Here he was, about to blast off into outer space, boldly going were no man has gone
before, and all he could think about was why they picked him. Sure, he was over joyed about it at
first, who wouldn't? He was going on a space adventurer after all. Something that every grade
school kid dreams about. But unlike those young boy fantasies, this was about more then blasting
aliens, and shouting one liners. The fate of the human race rested on this mission, and the
pressure was staring to get to him.

With a sigh, Sean  step out onto station, and saw the crowd of thousands.
They cheered, took pictures, wished him luck, or they just asked him for a autograph.
"These people do not know that a mere 4 years ago, I spent every night at
a bar, drinking away my worries", Sean thought. He wished he knew why he got this job.
Yes he was a good engineer, some would even say great, but this was so much larger then
him it made his head spin. He did not know if he was up to it.

Doubt, and fear was filling Seans mind. It was telling him to go back, that he was not ready
for the responsibility. But all those thoughts went away when he looked up and saw the Imperial
Unicorn.

It was the most beautiful thing he had ever saw, and at that moment he knew that he
would do whatever it took to keep her safe. It was his baby now, and protecting it is what
he was meant to do.

When he finally entered it a service droid greeted him. "Hello there sir, my name is S.B 625981. But the
rest of the crew just calls be Robo boy!" The overly cheerfuller droid exclaimed "uh, ok" Sean said.
"Were is the rest of the crew any way?" "They are on the bridge. You are the last to arrive, so they are
probably waiting for you on the bridge!" " hmm. That is not good, that probably means I am late.
You know your way around this place, could you take me too them?" The droids
face mounted headlights brighten. "okey dokey, lets go!" Sean somehow managed to follow the
robot as it zipped along the hallways, and in no time flat he was in the bridge, were four of his
crew mates were. He quickly tried introduced himself, making sure to skip over the more unsavory parts
of his past. However, before he could finish his story the captain walked in. Everyone immediately
stood at attention and saluted him.

"I see you all have gotten to know each other, that's good. You will be working together for
a long time, so it is best for all of you to become friends. If you can't do that then keep your
dislike to yourself. I will not tolerate fighting on my ship, is that clear? Now we
have some time before we are supposed to take off. So I would Like all of you to take
some time to familiarize yourself with the ship, and your consoles. We will leave in about an hour,
be at your stations at that time, dismissed.

After talking to the crew, the captain went to the communications console by his captains
chair, and the crew took a look around.

In the bridge there are 4 consoles next to 4 chairs. The communications console is on a raised
platform next to the captains chair in the center of the room. The other three are in a c formation
in front of the room. On the north wall there is a very large view screen. On the east wall there
Is a small electronic map of the whole ship. There is a elevator on the south side of the room.

Just like in any other RTD, I will just write them, and the turn a bit differently.

I would prefer if you role played, because it saves me work. But if you don't I will write It in. All
the turns wont be like this one. Most will be written like any other RTD. Turns like this are only for
when big plot points happen.

((Right. And away I go!))

"Yes sir."
Sean walked back to find the robot. If he was going to be working here, he could not have that chipper little droid running around and bugging him.
>Find robot.
>Modify it so it's personality is less... irritating.
>Proceed from there to the engine rooms.

Stan felt like he could just fly away and dance among the stars at any moment, which was somewhat justified by the fact that he totally could. Damn it feels good to be a pilot.

"Hello, dear friends and companions! My name is Stanislaw Chuzhinsky, but all of you can call me Stan. I don't know about you, but boy, am I glad to be here today! I will be your pilot for this trip to end all trips, and I intend to perform my duties to the utmost of my ability! Any questions?"

Familiarize myself with the navigation console and make sure I remember proper launch protocol and other fancy stuff. Prepare for launch once Captain and Command give the go-ahead. Listen to some music and stroll around the ship, checking up on the various amenities and accommodations for the crew.

Leon looks around blankly then scratches flakes of dried blood from his shirt.

"Good day, my name is Leon S Malard and I'll be the ships butcher chief medical officer.
If you need something sewn up, cut off or bolted on I'm your man.
I can even cure the common cold.
"

Head down to the medical bay, assess my medical staff and medical bays then access the console and check the systems to learn how they work.

Simon nods to the assembly.  "I am Simon Tallage, the science officer.  This is a glorious event for all of humanity!"

Examine what space and planetary scanning options the bridge offers.

"Weapons Specialist Stanton, here," Amy said, flicking her lighter closed and putting it away. She took a few puffs from her cigarette, then slid off the console to give the rest of the crew a lazy sort of salute with the first two fingers (holding the cigarette between them, no less) of her left hand. "You need shitheads shot, I'm your girl. You think enemy vessels need a couple of holes in them, I'm your girl. You want some asswipe's teeth broken, I'm your girl. Otherwise, don't waste my time. 'Kay?" She grinned, putting the cigarette back in her mouth, and sauntered off to find the ship's armory. The weapons needed inspecting. "God do I love guns."

Go to the armory and see what sort of weapons we have on-board. Then find the consoles to control the guns and familiarize myself with the controls.

Their is an armory, so you can go to it. But next time it would probably be best to look at the map,
instead of going to someplace that may, or may not be on the ship.

(OK. Where's the map? I don't see it in the OP or the Turn 0 post.

PPE: Ah, OK. There's a mention of an electronic map.)
