I remember the game being a whole lot faster and smoother! How did you record it?

I just used fraps, but it looks fine to me.
Edit: also could be that my computer is terrible.

I'm glad people are coming back to this game a bit, seems it nearly died a while back.

I hate to say it, but it's the second one. It usually runs about twice that speed.

Just to let those who don't have the game yet it is 75% off on Steam for the weekend (you can get the Guns and Tunes DLC at 75% off as well. If you have been watching the SALES thread you already know this so along with that I will include my first video of it for you all to check out. Also it may be a bit late but ibot66 if your still watching this thread and playing the game, try lowering the resolution if you haven't. It started at x2 for me and acted just like yours did in your video so I went back and kicked it down to x1 and the game behaved quite a bit better.

Anyway here is my video

Teleglitch... Fun but it stresses me out xD

Because of the long periods of absolutely nothing... and when something does happen YOU BETTER MOVE FAST SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT DANG IT SHOOT!

---

Looking at your video

I forgot how unrealistic the shotgun was in the game. Though I am sure by now everyone thinks that is how shotguns actually work (that they are splatterguns)

Its the random "boss mob" rooms that get me. Although once you hit level 4, you're basically one nasty mob away from dying. Once the mutants have machine guns the game gets like 5x harder.

Although right now my biggest foe is backing into anomalies while kiting and being chased. >< Fucking died 4 times to that last night.

I haven't gotten to random boss mobs yet (or I don't think I have) but when I first ran into a mob with a gun I basically reaction fired whatever was currently in my hand till it was out of ammo. Also agree with Neonivek on the stress, just finished about an hour and a half of recording and my neck muscles are not happy with me.

Yup, concurring on the stress thing. It's the kind of pattern that really messes up military types when they have to deal with it for months.
Which is to say, I'm pretty pleased I can (technically) just get up and quit whenever I want. I mean, I never would, but that's a different issue.

I disagree - throw a nailbomb around a corner and kill most everything. Use a cangun, fail to kill everything because you panicked, and then die because it took out a chunk of your life merely using it.

Life is most important resource, though ammunition is a veeery close second.

Picked this up tonight.  Played a couple games.  Quite good.  I do with the graphics were a tad more detailed.  I'm alright with retro minimalism, but wow.  The audio is great atmosphere, though.  And I like the interface.

I have the next part of my previously posted video here

Also I noticed that in some of the places people talked about the mods for the game. Do any of you have experience with this and if so what is your opinion. It seems that could be a way to make the game even more re-playable.

Just had my game crash after completing Level 4 for only the second time I've played this. Go to the Info Menu to check some monster descriptions, crash :(

I'm using the Extra Secrets mod, which is probably why I managed to finish Level 4 at all. Went through 2 teleporters.

I just beat it (started at level 3).  probably won't beat it again for a while.  (played with the teleglitch extended mod)

make sure to make emergency teleporters, used two during the final boss, and then I managed to kill myself via environment damage, thankfully I had another teleporter...
