I don't like danger rooms; I feel like that's a bit cheap. And I guess I'll dwarf Peregar (no relation), I wanted to see if you wanted to choose a new name.

***********************

From the Journal of Kadol Ezumadek, Dwarven Paladin
28th of Hematite, 225

I've ordered both Libash and his accuser Sir Sazir followed. Today, the dwarves who I entrusted with this duty (who I shall not name here in case this journal falls into the wrong hands) returned and gave me their report.

The dwarf who followed Libash found him in the food stockpile, drinking some beer. This already called the accusation into suspicion, but the final nail in the coffin (so to speak) was the action that Libash took soon after: He went to his room and fell upon his bed. Within moments, he was snoring like a pig. A bit rude, perhaps, but certainly no vampire. But then, why did Sir Sazir accuse him? She's a Paladin, and a good one at that! I had her followed as well. She spent the full time that she was followed in the barracks, practicing her dodging. She didn't seem to get tired. Even more suspiciously, the dwarf following her swore to me that she never touched her waterskin during the entire day. Much as I hate to say it, this vampire is pretending to be a Paladin.

Much as I would have loved to kill this vile betrayer and end her reign of terror, the law is the law. And in this case, the law says that for a national hero, the penalty for murder is reduced from death to 201 days in jail, to account for the psychological damage of war. So Sazir has been stripped of her title and placed in jail... For now.

Oh, look at you, Sazir. You were stripped of all ranks and titles, of all lands and holdings, and sentenced to death 201 days in jail  :o? Looks like our justice system is quite forgiving with unholy murderous bloodsucking children of the night.
Looks like she is deemed redeemable.
It would be a shame if someone...
...
walled her in.

Well, the law IS the law. Of course, Paladins are both Lawful and Good, and it would certainly go against the Greater Good to allow her to kill another dwarf. That's why she will be given a chance to redeem herself, but also be kept away from innocent dwarves. I have a plan ;).

You can add '2nd' or 'II' to his name, just to make difference.

Vampire should be exiled outside to feed on goblins. He also can be useful in killing ambushing necromancers.

Did you know that the Russian word for "sock" is "no sock"?
I just saw a guy with two broken legs push a minecart with a corpse in it. Yeah.

The Vampire must atone with its life. Recruit it into a single squad military and have it fight the undead until it perishes in combat. Only then it will be redeemed. Or exile it to the caverns.

I remember how I longed for a vampire migrant in my old fort Chainhammer. 2 towers as neighbours...sure could have used them. I even built a separated complex for them, filled with children and stuff to adore while they are training and having a snack. None came ever  >:(

I haven't gotten a vampire in my fort for quite some time.

So many dead already... but it appears the fortress will make it. ಠಠ_ಠಠ Their sacrifice will be honored in the coming Empire.
