The reason I say biogel and not the cables is :
1)Prices fluctuate on all products
2)The price for biogel is always relatively high

Even if the price were to fluctuate, the biogell would probably still be worth more, even vs an 100cables or 60 biogel

The reason I said it is I flipped a coin.

I vote we find the slave trader again and see if he has any more trouble makers to sell cheap, we need to expand a bit so far we have engineers and 1 soldier.
We could use a few more people with unique skills or combat training, and better weapons which our new friend ( where is my thanks for suggesting buying her? ) can help us with.

But it does give us more options for jobs.
We already have to convert 1 area for our new guest so we can take on 4 more without it making a difference since one cargo area converted can hold 5 people.

And seeing if we can find a few useful people to hire or buy cheap.
Having a working relationship with a slave trader could pay off in the long run.

Multi-Strand Flex Cables (5 Tin, 2 Silicon)  :Unknown (wire salvage was 500, we don't now at how much the multi strands sell)
Unprocessed tin: 30

500 tin
300 silicon

(x biogel, y multistand)

2x + 5y= 500
2y+ 5x= 300

2/5*x -100 = y
5/2x - 150  =y

4x +500= 25 x
21x =500

Now, if it didn't miscalculte, then the optimal mineral usage is 24 biogel and 90 flexwire. This uses up all our silicon and most of our tin (2 left). The 90 flexwire can used to fully upgrade our ship's wiring, or to sell on the market. Biogel is just selling.

I'd make a similair calculation for max profit, but I can't as I don't have the sale price for flexwire.

Instead of of making 60 biogel make 50..
Next trip mine 500 silicon and 300 tin,I want to insta make 100 biogel
Buy whatever we want at store this turn, including a fuel upgrade

Your math is off. We have 300 silicon, not 200.

Also, if we produce to much biogel we risk crashing the market.
