Multi-Strand Flex Cables (5 Tin, 2 Silicon)  :Unknown (wire salvage was 500, we don't now at how much the multi strands sell)
Unprocessed tin: 30

500 tin
300 silicon

(x biogel, y multistand)

2x + 5y= 500
2y+ 5x= 300

2/5*x -100 = y
5/2x - 150  =y

4x +500= 25 x
21x =500

Now, if it didn't miscalculte, then the optimal mineral usage is 24 biogel and 90 flexwire. This uses up all our silicon and most of our tin (2 left). The 90 flexwire can used to fully upgrade our ship's wiring, or to sell on the market. Biogel is just selling.

I'd make a similair calculation for max profit, but I can't as I don't have the sale price for flexwire.
Math looks good to someone who mostly skimmed it and didn't cross-check the numbers. +1.

This isn't dead! Don't give up hope!

You make 24 units of Biogel and 90 lengths of flex wire. Selling the wire at 1000Y per length (Construction projects have pushed the price up slightly from 900Y) and the Biogel for 1100Y per unit on the black market (compared to the 900 on consumer market) leaving you with

26400+90000
116400Y

After buying back the sniper rifle and allowing your newest member (Amelia) a small portion to purchase weapons materials, and an upgrade to fuel capacity, you are left with 76400Y and a full tank of 8 Fuel (two upgrades, for 3 units)
 
You are now the owner of:
UV-H Modified Satrich Sniper Rifle (Very powerful, enough to destroy armored targets with a few shots. High-zoom optic.)
x3 VLS-G Re-purposed Mining Laser (w/Tritium Enhanced Dot Sights) (Powerful for an assault rifle, they lack range but pack more of a punch than normal laser weapons. The laser is green in color.)
x3 VLS-O Rapid Scattershot (Fires three lasers at once in multiple rapid-fire bursts. Heats quickly, but great anti-personnel firepower. Orange laser.)
x1 XR "Sabre" handgun, laser dissipates after a few yards but can be very damaging to even battleship hulls.

You can apply a name to the VLS-G RF and VLS-O SSMG.
You can also do a lot of things with your new money.

The only change in the market is that the old ship has been bought and the following has been added to the market:
