Serris peered at Gideon as he performed his psionics, "If these things can move that quickly at will then I am probably not too terribly safe in my lab anymore..." he admitted. Serris would Wait for Gideon to finish. If he succeeds, follow him, otherwise follow Aldarist

Roll 17

[2] Gideon tapped his clairvoyance again to try and locate where the alien blinked to. However this time, in an artificial atmosphere with moving air currents, there was too much sensory input to detect anything more than a few meters away.

Serris stood by, waiting for Gideon to finish.
"I can't do it, too much activity... my powers have decayed since last time I used them. Too much interference from air currents and stuff, it's like feeling thousands of mice rushing through the ventilation ducts."
"Alright, I'll try myself."
Gideon looked curious.

[5] Serris entered a state of pseudo-meditation in which he examined traces of psionic energy. His stabilizer resisted him, but he felt this was neccesary as that alien could be anywhere. [4] Overcoming his self-imposed limitations, Serris detected a trail of energy flux (new word!) leading from the alien's previous location to... Deck 3.
Aldarist had already left.

New passive: Spell Flux.
New Sub-Passive: Backtrace.

--

[3] Aldarist made his way to the airlock once again with his pistols drawn. He was getting tired of having to get inside a pressure suit so many times, but he had to get the others together so that they could form a plan.
He felt a sudden terror loom over him from the ceiling.

--

[4] Jacob kicked the robot aside (27 damage) and bodyslammed guard A, knocking the guard down and allowing the drone to continue tageting the guard, this time landing a full-auto burst of headshots.
[6] Maximilian lashed at Guard C, slamming the butt of his gun into the guards head. The enemy reeled back to bring his weapon to bear again, but Max shot it out of his hands, detonating the propelland in its cartidges and causing it to expldoe violently (20 damage).

By this time, Captain Wallace had successfully pursued the enemy vessel to a small dwarf planet in the outer rim of the system. He zoomed in on the planet and its moon. The planet had a thick, dark cloud cover with minor currents, while the moon was mostly unremarkable except that it was quite large for a moon in proportion to the planet. He got out an ancient textbook that he had brought from the Centauri Royal Library that listed the known planets of the Sol system.

"According to the starcharts, this is Pluto, a barren ice world with a frozen core and no life whatsoever."
The navigator responded, "Sir, there may be a construction on the surface. The enemy vessel is on a course to enter orbit with the planet. I will begin scanning its surface for elevators and other megaconstructions."
"Get on it."

Body-slam the last guard, then check-out the robot wreckage.

"Neat, haven't seen someone do that in a long time. But let's get to the creature...."

Follow Aldaris and try to create a fluctuation around my gloves for increased impact damage.

"nice one."
Wait for Jacob to finish body-slamming the last guard, then grab the guard by the scruff of his neck and drag him to Aldarist. Explain what happened, then head back to help Jacob.

Serris stood in awe of his newfound ability, "I must say... You make a remarkable subject to learn from, Gideon. But you're right, we must move fast. That thing could be going after others while they're alone..." He stated in a cool tone. He would Follow Gideon to catch up with Aldarist

Roll 18

Gideon attempted to fuse two of his abilities together for an enhanced effect.

[19/24] New punch type:-Rend

Serris detached the helmet of the Phoenix Guard on the floor. The guard had been bleeding from the back of the head this entire time, and had no pulse.
Gideon and Serris headed down the hallways to pursue the alien and meet up with the other two--they should be warned about the threat in this system.

--

Aldarist looked up, saw nothing abnormal, but fired a few rounds at the ceiling anyway.

[Stillshot Successful] The rounds entered the ceiling with a satisfying bang (40 damage), but Aldarist also heard the sound of bullets inpacting flesh at reduced velocity.

[6] Suddenly, the ceiling came apart at Aldarist's feet. The alien from before, surrounded in a blue mist of Aldarist's anti-psionic energy, writhed in pain as Aldarist's attack converted its psionic potential into destructive force.

Empower has been upgraded

((Note, I buffed empower beforehand since it actually wasn't very useful at all. The new change is that it disables on the first hit.))

--

Jacob threw himself at the last guard (9 damage), pinning the Guard to the ground.

"Why did you attack us?"
"We, umm, don't have--"
"No offense, Jacob," Maximilian interrupted.
"But I think our friend Aldarist is the most likely to get us the information we want."

Jacob got up, grabbed the guard by the back of his neck with the MASS' huge claws, and followed Max to the airlock.

--

"Sir, we have not located any sort of megaconstruction on this side of the planet. Our projections indicate that the enemy vessel is making a crash landing." said the navigator.
"So there isn't a realistic way to pursue them," replied Wallace.
"I'm afraid not, sir."
"Enter orbit, we will be sending down a pod to track down the ship's crew."
The navigator returned to his station and began plotting a course.

--

Jacob and Max encountered Aldarist in the hall, along with some sort of bug-like alien creature that was writhing on the floor in pain. Serris and Gideon also arrived.

"How many times do we need to catch this thing?" Gideon asked rhetorically.
"Maybe if you didn't erase its memory it would be more cooperative." Serris remarked.

"Redeemed? Do you mean how you provided the means to ascent to a higher form?"
The alien once again seemed like it would cooperate.
"Do you know about the Symbiosis?"

Help interrogate the guard.

(( How long is it disabled for? By which I mean does the entire turn mean my next action then it can move, or just until my next action? Sorry I got side tracked and never noticed the update.
Somebody could of given me a good kick or something. ))

If it's disabled long enough then put a small piece of c4 with a remote det into the creatures mouth and order it to stay still.
If not, shoot it in the head, repeatedly.
