Roll 15

Jacob's drone had already been heading back to Jacob's position as its orders had expired.

One turn until drone arrives.

Jacob then continued examining the mental blueprint of the robot.
"Those arms have syringes on it."
Max nodded, and swung his blaster to hit the robot.
Jacob shouted "Stop!" but as he spoke, the robot extended its arms outward and jumped toward Max's legs. The three security personnel raised their weapons, and aimed them not at the robot, but one aimed for Max and the other two aimed at Jacob.

"Well, are you ready to join us?"

--

Aldarist reloaded one of his pistols, keeping his focus toward the red alien predator sprawled on the floor in front of him.
It appeared to be bleeding profusely, having wounds in its neck and chest. The creature's anatomy was eerily humanoid, with pronounced musculature and claws protruding from the wrists and ankles. Its fingers and toes sported segmented claws that served as a shell that protected the fingers.
What creeped him out, though, was its blank face. It had no chin, and its mouth was on the underside of its head, so it appeared to be faceless. He heard a low moan. It was still alive, and probably resented being shot.

Aldarist saw Serris' message flash on one of the wall monitors.
"I got your invader right here!" he shouted at the door to the Med-Bay.

Serris and Gideon rushed out shortly. Aldarist kept his sights fixed on the alien's head. He walked over to it, arms aching from firing his pistols before.
Gideon walked up to it.

"Do you speak English?" he slowly asked, stressing the consonants.
"We have for a millenium," it croaked, causing Gideon to jump back.

"This thing can talk?"
"It is capable of imitating humans, I believe it can talk since it is an intelligent organism," Serris answered. "Setting up a civilization is hard without speech."
"We don't need to talk..." it croaked again. "I am no a shapeshifter, I'm just... enlightened? Thanks to you..."

"Well, I'd count that as hostilities."
Fire at the robot. Have my drone move in a flanking position when it arrives.

(5) You manage to struggle free of the guards and sprint to a safe distance before tossing a knife at one! (5 + 1 = 6) The throwing knife zips through the air, slitting a guard's throat! It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

"Aldaris keep pointing your gun at him, i will try the same as i tried with the guard. Namely turn time back.

Enlightened ones don't need to die.."

Attempt to reverse the wounds of the thing by winding back time. (Same as the vanguard.)

"Awful trusting, aren't you?" Serris stated blankly to Gideon, keeping his pistol in his hand but lowered, ready to react to any movement from the 'enlightened one'. "More important is to understand-" He started, his focus remaining on the wounded alien, "Why are you attacking, just what are you, and what do you mean 'Thanks to us'?" Serris would Await its answer

"Oh I was more-or-less human a few minutes ago, just like you. I did not become like this through will, but through your powers, and the symbiosis... It's a permanent transformation, I can't go back..."
It coughed up a few drops of blood.
"All I know, is that you were in our space, and that meant we have to take you to our superiors... becoming like the ascended was never part of the plan."
It twisted its head around, as if to get a better view of the area.
"What are you doing with me?"

((My schedule is going to be tentative for the next week, if I don't respond within a day or so please auto me))

Serris sighed, "I suppose you are not much use to us wounded. Gideon, let me help you out." Serris focused inward, trying to Psionically stabilize Gideon's spell.

Roll 16

[6] Gideon began winding back time again to heal the alien so that he and his new coworkers could gain more info in a formal interrogation.

Serris warned Gideon that the alien might not be trustable, and attempted to stabilize Gideon's powers to avoid... mishaps. Gideon seemed extremely powerful, and one slip could mean certain death, or worse, feeding this monster even more.

Stabilize learned [16/24][15/24]

Aldarist lowered his weapon and watched as the alien began to make strange vocalizations. He realized that it was talking backwards. Suddenly, two bullets erupted from the creature's wounds and impacted on the wall behind Aldarist.

The alien was lifted to its feet.

"What?" it shouted.
"How did you get here?"

It vanished into thin air with a flash of light.

"It seems that this creature can teleport. Can you teleport, Gideon?"

Jacob took hold of the joystick next to his left hand and armed the MASS driver. He began to fire repeatedly downward at the robot, piercing its shell with 23 damage and disabling its locomotion. Jacob had punched holes through a few of the arms, but the robot retained two usable arms and more importantly, its "head," which was where Jacob believed the robot's computer was located.
The robot unsheathed a rectangular weapon from each arm and swivelled them to face Jacob. He felt numerous impacts on his chest armor, but felt no pain as the MASS absorbed it. (Total damage taken: 7)

Jacob saw Phoenix Guard A taking aim for Jacob's visor. But behind the guard was Jacob's spider drone.
"Drone A, engage target!" Jacob shouted into the near-field radio. His drone hesistated as it interpreted the command. The Guard turned around but was mowed down by Jacob's drone, the armor-piercing bullets penetrating through the Guard's suit and flying past Jacob at reduced velocity. One bounced off his suit, [5] but the armor completely deflected it and richocheted it back into Pheonix Guard A, adding 5 bonus damage.

Meanwhile, Maximilian deftly launched himself diagonally toward Pheonix Guards B and C, rolling and [24/24] firing twice at Guard B's visor. The Guard's helmet exploded from the sudden pressure. (Critical Hit for 90 damage).

The other guard fired upon Max with a shotgun after Max stopped rolling. Maximilian [Dodge failed] took one burst of shells to the side of his torso, penetrating his suit and dealing 12 damage. Max saw the green light on the lower part of his HUD light up. This meant that the suit's sealing procedure was successful.

"He didn't teleport.. It's not possible without any technology involved. He must've shifted himself to warpspace and back here. but i guess i can, but i'd rather not. Very dangerous and i can end up back in space. But i'll try to sense him."

Try to shift my mind into hyperspace and sense the creature's where abouts. *Fluctuation in the dimension, energy peaks, etc.

Shoot Guard C, aiming to take out the weapon/his hands rather than kill him.
