Run a check on the strange robot.

"Hm, shame that it had to be destroyed like that." Serris stated as he brushed his lab coat, "But I will not be deterred. Whatever that was, I need to identify it before it costs us." Serris would Assist in the cleanup, looking for any samples or evidence he could analyze

Roll 14

"Jacob, can you analyze that robot? I was told you have psionic abilities as well... is there any chance they might be relevant to your profession?" Maximilian asked.
"On it!" Jacob replied.

Jacob went over the robot and warned the security personnel to stand back. He kneeled down carefully as to not lose his balance in the MASS, and held his hand over the robot. It swivelled its camera to face him.
He felt a surge of power course through him. His mental prowess combined with the potency of his magic allowed him to view reality in a teleological fashion. He conjured a mental schematic of the robot in his mind, examining its various parts.
Blueprint acquired!

"This robot," he began, "Is absolutely not a utility robot. It's got surgical implements and a tank of some kind of pathogen inside it. The upper cap has this fluid running through it. It's definitely not from our ship. I think it's some kind of trap."
"A trap?" Maximilian said in confusion. color=magenta]"So shouldn't we destroy it?"[/color]

The guards all began to shrug in unison.

--

Aldarist didn't know how to interpret the soldier's response, so he just asked, "Where is that wound from?".
The guard replied, "I don't remember."
"Well, you're coming to the med-bay for treatment... and a mental evaluation."

He took his helmet off and began leading the guard through the hallway.

--

Gideon began searching among the pieces of shrapnel for any intact components. He wondered if the suit was booby-trapped, somehow. If that was the case, however, he expected it to explode during the preliminary examination. Maybe it was triggered somehow by the alien as a last resort.
[3] He picked up a white plastic rectangle that was inside of a metal slot of some sort. It had a connector on one end.
He also found an intact portion of a large electronic component. It appeared to be from a generator.

Serris heped in the search, and found what appeared to be a tank for storing organic compounds. It was completely empty, but Serris realized it was used to hold the pink substance. Maybe it fueled the morphing?
He also found a strange device that seemed to resonate with his powers--the closer he brought it to his head, the more energy he felt flowing through it. It didn't actually emit anything, however. Inside of it was a white crystal, with a familiar structure that he recognized, but couldn't identify.

--

Aldarist continued through the halls. [3] Outside of the med-bay, however, he felt some kind of force... descending upon him. [15/24] He looked around, though and everything seemed to be clear. Perhaps something had gone wrong in the med-bay? He rushed to the door to investigate.

-Memory Chip: It's a plastic chip that probably does something when you put it into a computer
-Generator Part: Part of a generator.
-Psi-Active Crystal: Senses psionic energy. Found in a power suit for some reason.

Back away from the med bay.

Aldarist backed up. He was, for the first time in a while, feeling scared right now. He had no idea why.

He heard something moving above him.

Gideon and Serris heard a loud noise from outside the med-bay. It was accompanied by the thrashing of metal.

--

The sound came from behind him.

[4] Aldarist turned around and immediately fired in the general direction of the... thing that appeared. His shots appeared to be harming it, causing it to double over and fall onto the ground. Aldarist paused for a moment to investigate. The guard he had brought was in a heap next to the wall, having been knocked back by a sudden release of force.

(-4 rounds from each pistol)

"Curious... Perhaps this crystal was part of a psychically triggered mechanism in the suit? It could be a useful way of triggering a system with minimal input." Serris observed as he turned the crystal around in his hand, holding it towards the light, "It's a mystery that will require more extensive research, but more immediately that chip could be-"

Serris was interrupted by the thrashing and gunfire outside the med-bay. In reflex, he immediately pocketed the crystal and drew his pistol, gesturing to the door "Gideon, up against the door. Maybe that... thing's death alerted others." He would Wait for Gideon's response before investigating the noise, pistol at the ready.

In a sluggish afterthought, Serris grabbed his tablet on the way to the door, quickly typing out a ship-wide message:
Quote from: Medical
Alert: Hostile Boarding Parties capable of utilizing some sort of appearance morphing power. Use caution.

Examine to robot some more to see if there is some form of dispersal device on it. Also, have my drone find it's way back to the gunner pod.
