Grab the pick.
Dig a neat little entrance into a nearby hillside on the "island," or straight down if that isn't an option. Dig a storage room and farm if there's time this turn.

"Yes, miss." Thanen answered almost soundlessly.

Take one of the copper axes and take down a tree to obtain more lumber.

Rigoth bounded off of the wagon with a smile. Then he saw where they were.
"Oh Devashiten."
Help out in any way possible. Haul, likely.

First Actions

A set of the dwarves, faster than the others, move first.

[6] Urgof goes scouting nearby, with his axe at the ready. What luck! He finds a chest. Filled with six Tower-cap Logs.

[6] Hecar grabs his crossbow, and goes hunting. What luck! He finds a herd of half-crazed Yaks. Attack?

[6] Ūben grabs his pick, and starts digging. What luck! He works like a dwarf possessed, carving out a small storage room, and a larger room for a farm. And he does it with most of the stone intact.

[6] Thanen grabs an axe, and starts cutting down the local trees. What luck! He works like a maniac, cutting down eight Willow trees with ease. There are not too many left around the wagon, though.

[5] Rigoth looks around, and realizes they are in a swamp. But that doesn't deter him! He jumps down, and starts hauling the Willow Logs to the wagon. He gets half of them rather quickly.

This round's spoils
Found: Six Tower-cap Logs, One Tower-cap Chest
Mined: Sixteen Gabbro Stones
Logged: Eight Willow Logs. Four have been hauled to the wagon.

Enemies?
Eight starved Yaks

Drag chest with logs back to the wagon then attempt to catch as many yaks as possible alive.

"Try not to kill them all guy's if we catch them then we can breed more, it'll be worth it in the long term"

Catch as many yaks as possible alive.
((The hunter found them, by the way.))

"Not too bad." Thanen noted.

Help with hauling and anything else simple enough for now. If any help for hunting or taking down enemies is requested, then jump into that instead.

Yes.  Hunt them.  Just the stragglers though, the ones that won't be missed as easily.
((Wow.  Are those dice loaded, by any chance?  :D))

Cool.
Keep up the good work and dig out a central meeting area with bedrooms for us adjacent to it. The meeting area will be for only important dwarves like the founders. I call that room!

Urgof Loses. He has several shattered ribs, and he is in the air.

[5] Rigoth gets to work, and builds a Carpenter's Workshop. He does well.

[6] Thanen starts hauling. What luck! He drags the whole chest full of wood to the wagon, and then gathers up the remaining Willow logs.

"...Well, I guess I'd better help the soldier now..."
Shoot any Yaks if they try to attack Urgof as he retreats, while staying stealthy.  Do not attack if they don't try to follow him.  Then recover the bodies once they have moved on.
