Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.

So lemme get this straight. You managed to fix us up, get horders of migrants that we desperately needed then decided that we had to fight the enemy we've been avoiding for three forts and when you failed at that you thought that releasing Hell would be the better choice of death, despite what happened in Necrothreat II?

You most definitely gotta try to fix it now.

Rule number 1 of Necrothreat. Never fight a battle you aren't sure to win.
See, the thing is, I fought the same enemy and won earlier in the same turn! And none of this would have been a problem if Pisskop hadn't decided to go oblivious, or if Pisskop and Dwarfy had decided to show up at the same time, or if someone hadn't turned the whole surface fort into a goddamned maze of impossible-to-decipher tunnels!

Also I never read Necrothreat II.

Next version of Teh Lolmod will have tomato people
Flame and Tomato are both widowers. Also, 10 migrants showed up.

...

I will save this fort and make it better and more amazing than any of you could have dreamed! I'll conquer hell and dine on demon! I'll smite the necrothreaders and necromancers and elves so hard their grandchildren will feel it! I'll make Necrothreat a household name! Just you wait!

Tomato! The listening tubes! Is that... Voices? New voices?
Holy shit! Flame! I hear my parents! We're digging a tunnel to the surface NOW!
Okay, dig it over by the farm plot!
Everyone! Get in here! Down the hole! Go go go! Is that everyone?
Everyone but the animals!
Forget them! I'll wall it up! There. That was exhausting. I'm taking a nap.



So after that chaotic scramble, we've acquired 10 more members to our little hole. And a war doge that came down the hole with them. Some else might think that's a good thing, but Tomato and I could handle all the work, so this is just more mouths to feed. We're running dangerously low on booze.



Apparently we've also acquired Tomato's parents and younger brother as well. I can imagine how that conversation went.
"Hello son! How are the wife and kids!"
"Dead."
*silence*
Anyway, I've compiled a list of things we need to do, in rough order of importance:
1. Acquire more food and booze
2. Acquire wood for beds (or just beds)
3. Liberate and secure more rooms
4. Get other resources
5. Start a new military - half our new migrants have military skills
6. Beat back the demons



Speaking of beating back the demons, this is a sketch of the dining hall from the Booze Room Peep-Hole. All those demons are trying to smash an artifact table, the last remaining piece of furniture from the old dining hall.



Doesn't look like much, but it's weathering the beatings of 30-some demons without a scratch. Immortalitysave. Fitting name. Wonder who made it? They're dead now, but their legacy lives on.

Anyway, with all those demons sitting there, you'd think we could drop a floor on them or something. But unfortunately to do that we'd have to dig through part of the bedrooms, which are, you guessed it, demon-controlled. You can also see in the sketch

We've made a couple of room acquisitions lately. First, this crafting hall:



This netted us wood, most importantly, but also blocks, some metal, some space, and some raw adamantine, which could be useful someday. There's also a few slabs we can right and a giant cave swallow skeleton we can get some bones from.

Then the blocks we gained let us acquire this room:



It's got plenty of food and booze to last us a while, plus one bed we don't have to make. You can also see the animals pressed up against the wall, which somehow managed to get past the demons to get there. Gives me hope we can pull one over on them, that does.

can you get the migrants profiles?
Maybe later when there are more than 12 dwarves and we have some hope. I don't want to dwarf unnecessarily. Also I can't be arsed.

Another wave of migrants got in, barely. Also I'm going to use a catapult to ruin some demons' days. Hopefully it works, and if it does, I think I may have a solution to our little demon problem.

You simultaneously managed to lose the most amount of Forumites in one turn, and also somehow get all the migrants that all the other turns didn't have.

I don't know whether to congratulate you or throw you to Sprin :P

You think I won't be able to take Sprin? I got him killed last turn, remember. And if you go by other forts, I'm also Flame Chaosbane Voidgod Terryslayer Hellforged Indomitable Fuckyou.

Hell yeah I will. I've already reclaimed almost the entire fort, killed over half the demons, and brought our population to 25 dwarves. You think I can't save this fort even harder than I doomed it? Just give me one more year and it'll look amazing.

And by the way, the bottom level of the fort where you stuck that lever is flooded with magma now. The demons smashed a door. Care to tell what the lever did?
