Possible site here, let me know what you all think.

Btw just take a line off the right and a line off the top and you have our 4x4

Purple mountains are evil mountains if I remember right, and that forest you show is haunted, which is also evil.  This would mean at least two biomes, both evil (each can have their own weather, with its own syndromes.  Each has a chance of being evil but having living plants and living animals, dead plants and no animals, or undead plants and undead animals).  This doesn't mean a 'no!' from me, but it may mean a 'doh, this is hard!' from us all.

You'd mentioned you wanted high savagery, right?  Haunted corresponds to neutral, it's terrorfying that matched evil high savagry, if you still care.

Hows the elevation there?  Do all races have access to us?

The elavation goes something like
3313
3331
3313
With that river cutting through it has a few changes in elevation, nothing crazy. All races have access to us.

If you guys could take a look and help find cool embarks PLEASE do!

I'd like it to include some form of soil and at least a shallow metal like copper.

This area has shallow copper and deeper iron.

The fun of this is that we all go throuh the same difficult zone with varied wildlife so in my opinion the more savage the better.

Sounds interesting! If you are still searching for players i would like to join.

The embark you suggested is actually really good. I just did a sneak peak of the surface. There is some !!Fun!! waiting. (Dont want to spoil anything^^)
Should be the right spot for interesting storys and falling fortresses :P

This embark is pretty dangerous !Fun!. I assume we will see some Forts falling fast enough here.^^

-> I think we should go with the embark Metruption suggested.

Untamed cliffs with a terrifying valley in the middle.

76332
77312
77211
77522
65432

Dwarves, Elves. Goblins, Humans

How about this?

I don't know if you need other ideas when you have magma.

Hey that's mavj96's ! Jerks stealing my ideas, time to sue!!

Has anyone taken a look at Varni's? I keep leaving behind forts when I check areas out so I'm going to let you guys look at his instead of me.

You're in btw Gind, last man.

Varni does that have any Shallows?

Your embark is really interesting Varni but I've found that no metals actually exist in it, there is a bug for false positives and negatives with the metals as well as flux stone, the flux is there but there are no metals at all. Yours even had an antmen colony :C.

Nope. No shallow metals. Looks like a real pain =)

Have to dig for water. Have to dig for metal. But we're digging for magma anyway...

Here's what I found exploring the upper right regions of the map:

Although it is low savagery the presence of shallow metal other things we might all end up embarking here.

It is however important to choose a location that encourages multiple styles of play.

I quite like Metrupion's embark point.
Do you mean this one :D didn't know we had psychics (or however you spell that) on the forums!

Okay guys what do you think? Aside from the biomes the metals are as follows.

mavj96 embark - Some shallow iron with a few deeper metals.

Metruption embark - Shallow cassi-tin as well as magma level tetrahedrite/galena.

Varni's embark was glitched and had no metals to be seen when I used DFhack.

I'll cast my vote behind Mavj's spot.

I usually turn evil rain off in world gen, so it's been a while since I had a Fun insta-crumble.

I guess we can cap it at 10, ONLY if you help find embarks or at least cast your opinions on them though!

10 o' clock Hilton Head Carolina time I'm going to close the polls and we will start.

(bout an hour and 20)

Unless it's decisive before then.
