Alright team, here's my pick, for your laughter and non-votes!
If we go with the 4x4 size (I recommend that, as at least one of us needs that), then the elevation image is thus:
Here's a look at each of the three Biomes:
If we decide instead to take the 5x5, we would add to the top and the left. This would give 1 more square of desert and 8 more squares of forest.
All three biomes are savage. That doesn't change anything for the shrubland (even calm shrublands can have grizzlies) or the ocean(even calm oceans have sea serpents), but it does allow for giant cats and giant arachnids from the desert.
The ocean is evil. Undead ocean critters, at least when the water's not frozen, are free to climb out of the waves and chase our hapless minions as their living counterparts never could.
Oceans do mean another thing though - salt water on the surface. There's no brook, but if there was, it too would be salty. If this map wins the vote, plan to make a desalinization area, or head for the caverns - I've heard (no, I've never actually played an ocean embark for more than a month of game time) that if there's water in the caverns, it's usually not salty.
There may not be much metal. If the site finder lies, there may not actually be flux. I did check the embark. The ocean really is there (that needs to be checked, cause sometimes.... it's really all land). Undead do spawn (some evil areas they dont/rarely do). We'd be starting in snow. There won't be any strictly aquatic ocean spawns until the ocean melts - don't worry, there's plenty of ocean things that are not strictly aquatic (crabs are one). I did not check with DFhack. I did check the map depth, a wondrous 114 Urists down it goes (I like deep maps meself)
Here's the overall view, to help you guys find this:
