Sure on both! I have two dining rooms. They're basically the same, but here they both are:
I have the fort backed up seasonally, so I could really even post the fort's save at each update. Don't know where to post save files though, ideally without an account. I'm not sure what pictures you'd want me to post during journal entries either. If we ever get a murder or something (at least a few updates away considering our high happiness and lack of dangers), then I'll post a picture then.
And now, for an update!

Melbil 'Malimbar' Linedwire
Early Summer 132
A busy spring I think. We dug so deep that the rock was starting to get a little molten. I visited down there once, and was pleased that we'd finally start to get a magma forge. Then I'm told that the rock is semi-molten, but not hot enough to heat a forge. Well dig deeper! nope. can't apparently. I went down there again just to be sure, and I can't figure out a way to dig through it either. Seems we'll have to hunt down a pocket of magma somewhere a bit higher.
On the clothing side we're pretty good for trousers and robes. The quality that Ralgreth Smith is putting out has gotten to be really good. I took over for a while in order to make a few gloves, socks, and cloaks, and he went up to make some leather shoes. That's really needed, because my shoes are nearly worn out as is.

Ber 'Amariithynar' Mightshot
My water buffalo dress has a growing hole in the back, so I'm worried about getting rid of it soon. I'd rather not get rid of it, but apparently no one knows how to patch clothing int he fort. I'm not going to risk it either. It's going the way of my shoes (maybe I should switch to leather boots).
Our new lead trade depot is looking great though. I'm quite happy with the design for now.

*The Willsauce Family*
(written by MrsWillsauce)
We dug down to find magma, and apparently we can't dig low enough to reach it. By my husbands gods... it was semi-molten rock. Magma without the decency of being useful or dig-able.
That's it, I'm getting a drink. I hear they have some more strawberry wine available, since the elves just came. Speaking of walking up to the brewer, I just want to point out that Amariithynar is doing a great job building things. Those supports up the central staircase - very classy.

Deligated to more smoothing jobs. Now it's rooms we don't even use! why? because "someday we might" says Malimbar. So I sit here in my sun-worn clothing making the smoothest and greatest looking slate room you've ever seen. I wonder what they'll turn it into. Maybe a museum. Or a place to stockpile shoes and chickens.
By the way, I was wrong about the lead trade depot. It's amazing! The lead in particular was a great idea, and I need to be sure to compliment Amariithynar on that next time I see her. With all the lead around, maybe I can get them to put some lead furniture in my room or something.

Morul 'Uthric' Helmpractice
My toad leather shoes have holes in the feet. I can't wear these much longer, so they should probably get working on this.I can't complain too much though - life has been really relaxing. I just talked with teh spouse recently about how nice those central supports are, and work is going pretty well makign mead for everyone. I think they all enjoy it.

Domas 'Ralgreth Smith' Reliefgate
I'm glad my punishment is still being delayed! I know the Mayor has been thinking about it for a really long time now. I expect it to be a long time coming too, because we don't have a jail yet, or a hospital, or a captain of the guard. I don't think those are on anyone's mind either except for the Mayor.
As a bonus, I've been able to work continuously this last season. I'm getting really proud of a lot of the clothing I'm making - lots of robes and trousers to be specific. Since we ramped up pigtail production we've had a LOT of cloth and clothing to make too, which is a very nice change from the way it used to be. I had to take a break though in order to make some shoes. We never have that much leather (and we're a bit particular about what sorts of leather we use), so shoes have always been a low priority.

Zefon 'Sloth' Claspscalded
the majority of my clothes have holes in them right now. Sure, I still have a LEGENDARY robe and a pretty good pair of trousers, but my sheep wool hood isn't going to be keeping out any rain. And my alpaca wool shoes? useless.
By the way, I looked at this fine trap upstairs recently. It's pretty good looking. It woul dbe better if they made it out of granite and put a mace in their instead of a cage, but I approve of the craftsdwarfship.

Zas 'Zol' Basementperplexed
I was sitting in the dining room enjoying a meal and contimplating the great living conditions here, and as I was doing it one of my dingo leather mittens caught on the corner of the table. it was embarrassing. I hope they get new clothes soon.
these days I'm pretty tired too. Heck, right after this I know I have to butcher an animal or two, I have to render the fat, and I have to cook. Seriously, it's exhausing.

Edem 'Galen' Torchwet
I just had a wonderful shad with a good drink of dwarven wine. I'm so full I could burst! and I have no regrets.
That and I'm going to be busy mining for quite a while. looking at digging pattern, I guess they're making a... hospital? It has two holes which I think are for wells, but it also has a separate room I don't understand. It makes me nervous.
Asmel 'Doktor' Armorwalk
Just this last month I was talkiing to the Willsauce's about their little demon kid. Well, while I was there I was thinking, and I figured out why they got to live in the awesome rooms. It's because they told the manager what they wanted to do.
Well, I went right over to the manager and told him "hey, I want a job. Make me the doctor!". He said "uh, sure. I'll get you a hospital."
Darn straight. I'll dedicate it to Istrath Renownedstance, the great skeletal dwarf, goddess of lightning, death, and suicide. now... I should probably learn how to doctor.
